Sorrel shut his eyes, practically afraid of what he was going to do. "Why am I doing this? Oh my God, I'm so stupid." He thought, as he leaned forward. He tried to aim himself correctly, with his eyes shut, and go for a kiss. His lips ended up messily meeting the side of Amory's, and he honestly didn't know what to do with himself for it.

@Elder-God-Whisper

Amory’s eyebrows shot up and he leaned back. His face was flushed. Something you don’t see every day. Then he calmed and leaned in and brushed his lips against the other’s. “Is that what you mean? Hmm. Ok.” He kissed once more, a little harder before pushing himself away from the desk, looking down imperiously at Sorrel. “How about a date? You can tell me exactly what I can do make myself… pleasant.” He walked around and sat back down in his chair, still a bit flushed, but his face remained neutral.

"S-Sure then." Sorrel stuttered. Amory was actually really going through with things? "How about that Italian place, just around the corner? I heard it's got some great pasta-" He suggested, with a few less stutters. His face was redder than the few roses that sat in vases around the room. He brushed off the bottom half of his coat, a nervous habit he'd picked up, and literally fled the room. Once he was around the doorway, he did an excited little hop and smiled. A squeak-like sound followed.

@Elder-God-Whisper

Amory heard him from inside his office and grinned, shaking his head and chuckling softly to himself. He picked up his phone and called a number. "Hey Rose. Cancel all my appointments for Saturday. … I've got a hot date." he said humorlessly. Then he hung up and went back to work, sighing at the mounds of paperwork he had to get done before he was free…

(time skip?)

( Surely! Also, I think Amory's got me tied up in happiness. He's too perfect. Should I start where they're in front of the restaurant, or perhaps with them texting each other as they're getting ready-? )

Deleted user

( I have a feeling they met when Amory was new to the job they appear to work at. Sorrel seems like he's superior or something, due to how it's been so far (note how he didn't seem to have much to do, walked in to scold Amory. ) )

Sorrel put on a thin, white button-up shirt. He tied a rosy pink tie around his collar after that, tightening it quite a lot. "Hmm." He muttered, grabbing his phone. He typed out a quick message to Amory. 'Hey, are you almost ready?' the message read. He tapped 'sent', and continued preparing himself for their date.

@Elder-God-Whisper

(Superior in rank but not in dominance. lmao)

Amory glanced down at his phone on his bathroom counter as he combed his hair. He picked it up and typed back, "I'll be picking you up in about 15 minutes, I need to finish dressing and I need to feed my cat, then I'll be over to pick you up. K?"

Deleted user

( LMAO RIGHT, I'm dead! )

Sorrel looked at the message, and smiled. 'Sounds sweet.' He replied. He tried to force his lone stand-up hair down with gel, and it failed overall, that thing just wouldn't stay down. He laughed, a little, as he made sure he looked his best. "What do men give each other on dates? Women like flowers, but men, well." He asked himself. "I like attention, I'll give some of then, then, it's my best, after all." He muttered, going into a nervous ramble.

@Elder-God-Whisper

Amory filled his cat's bowl and he called it, "Whiskey, whiskey, whiskey! Dinner time." A young ragdoll cat came running and immediately started gobbling. He smiled softly and ran his fingers through the fur on Whiskey's back before standing up, grabbing his wallet and keys along with a small package and heading out the door. He got in his car and sent a message saying he was on his way.

Sorrel purred softly. "Exciting." He said. He chose not to respond, so that Amory wouldn't be distracted by him. He added a final touch to his appearance, a silver bracelet, and he felt complete. He grabbed his keys and exited his house, locking the door shut. He sat at the bench at the end of his driveway, hoping that the natural elements wouldn't ruin his attire.

@Elder-God-Whisper

Amory's car quietly slid up in front of Sorrel, the car black and sleek. He put the car into standing and got out, coming around to greet the other. "We meet again." he smiled cooly. "I hope you weren't waiting long?"

Deleted user

"Not at all, I practically just got out here." Sorrel said. He'd gained a little bit more confidence since the day they decided they were going out, and stuttered less. His blush, however, remained uncontrollable. He ran his fingers though his hair. "You look divine," He said, complimenting Amory.

Deleted user

( Alright! See you later! )

Sorrel laughed, softly. "We shall. Thank you." He said, sliding into the shotgun seat. He glanced around the car, noticing how pristine it was. The thing was flipping gorgeous. "Niiice." He muttered.

( Fair warning. I won't be able to come back until Tuesday due to a break and can't be here on weekends, sorry. )

@Elder-God-Whisper

(I'm the same, don't worry about it. I'm never on during weekends or school holidays)

Armory had already closed the door and was sliding into his seat. "Like it?" he smirked, pulling smoothly away from the curb. "Still got your heart set on the Italian place?" he fiddled with some controls as he stayed paced behind another car. He could see the driver gawking in their rear-view mirror.

Deleted user

( Wow at least someone gets it! )

"It truly is gorgeous, and of course, my heart will forever lie in Italy." Sorrel said, warmly. He kind of glanced over at Amory and locked his eyes on his hair. Astonishing, astonishing, astonishing! Everything about this man was astonishing to him.

@Elder-God-Whisper

(Yeah, I'm not allowed on the internet at home, and I'm actually am not supposed to be on "chat rooms" but I'm 7 months from being eighteen, and I have very little respect for my parents at this point, so I don't give a crap.)

Amory nodded once and took a turn to start heading for the restaurant. "Why does your heart lie with Italy?" he asked, intrigued. As he looked at his date from the corner of his eye, the corner of his mouth turning up without permission. Sorrel was quite handsome tonight. His outfit suited him well.

( Same! I'll be eighteen this year too, so it's really funny. Sucks I'll have to go during the summer though. )

"I love the romance, and the scenes. Everything there reminds me of the truest eros, the most frantic love. I've never been there, but honestly it's my whole dream." Sorrel said, with a wispy tone. He felt so proud of his admiration for the place. "You know, it kind of reminds me of you, in a weird way." He whispered.

@Elder-God-Whisper

(Actually, I may not be on much during summer either, so it checks out. We'll talk again in the fall!)

Amory nodded at the explaination, but then his eyebrows shot up at the last comment. "How do you connect a country of romance with me of all people?" He snorted a bit in amusment before continuing, "I think of myself to be more of a…. Hmm, Greenland." He reached over and set a hand on Sorrel's leg. "You on the other hand, make me think of Germany in the summer."

Deleted user

( Of course! I'll make a little note not to forget you during then! I have a bad memory so that'll be my best bet! )

"You're so built up on things, and you're full of mysteries, y-you know." He said. Hell, why'd the stuttering have to come back? "Why Germany, and why summer, though..?" Sorrel asked. He forced another stutter to keep itself silenced. "Is it something about warmth, or something more?" He wondered, aloud.

@Elder-God-Whisper

(lol, I'll probably do the same.)

Amory rubbed Sorrel's leg briefly before pulling his hand away. "Germany is a beautiful country, and in the summer, there's lots of greenery, and there's excitement in the markets and all the festivals during the summer. It's like you. Upbeat, exciting, and yes, warm. Inviting."

Sorrel noticed the hand even more as it moved, and it made him feel the butterflies in his tummy, as if they had been set free. He jolted his view to the window, and tried not to pay attention to it. He'd begun to blush way too much. "Well, I'll only be that way for you, then. I'll refuse to let anyone else into Germany, for you." He said, figuratively. He laughed, a little bit, before letting a big smile grow on his face.

@Elder-God-Whisper

Amory smirked and let out in a purring tone, "I'm going to make sure you don't want to let anyone else into "Germany"…~" He let out a quick sigh to himself and was now pulling into the parking lot of the restaurant.

Sorrel perked up, and turned to Amory. Oh, you'd bet this guy's eyes were wide. "That sounds really, really exciting. I uh, oh, we're here!" He rambled. Amory really succeeded at getting under his skin in all of the right places. "Mmmm." He said, imagining the food he'd eat. He tried to keep himself distracted.

@Elder-God-Whisper

"I should hope it sounds exciting. Else I would question why you're going on a date with me…" Amory parked and promptly was out of the car and opening Sorrel's door for him. He held a hand out to help the other out. He was the perfect image of a gentleman.

"Well, of course I'm going with you. You're annoying, we have to discuss your problems and how we can fix them." Sorrel said. Honestly he wasn't too sure if Amory really was annoying, but he wanted to let a few things be known. He took Amory's hand and gracefully got out. Heck, his hand was lotioned up just for the occasion.

@Elder-God-Whisper

Amory quirked an eyebrow and leaned over to briefly kiss Sorrel's surprisingly soft hand. "Very well. Might as well get a good dinner out of this. Perhaps, though, the problem may not lie with me…~" Then he straightened and shut the door behind Sorrel and lay a hand on the small of the other's back, guiding him into the restaurant, quickly getting the hostess to give them a table more quickly and in a private spot, by a little harmless flirting and… money may have changed hands…. 'Worth it for this though…' he thought to himself as he pulled out a chair at their table for Sorrel.
