Lucas nodded, leading Nick back to the room and bringing him his clothes. "Um… do you need any help getting dressed, love?"
Lucas nodded, leading Nick back to the room and bringing him his clothes. "Um… do you need any help getting dressed, love?"
"Yes, please. He looked for the hem of his shirt and then pulled it off. "Can you help me with the rest?"
"Yeah, of course." After a moment of hesitation and blushing, Lucas helped Nick change.
"Thank you, can you help put my belt on?" he asked, holding up the belt.
"Mhmm." Lucas carefully slipped the belt through each of the belt loops on Nick's pants, pulling it tighter once it was through. "How does that feel, love? Too tight?"
"Not at all, just right. Thank you," he whispered. "Shoes next. I'm sorry for making you do this…" he sighed and hopped on the bed.
"Don't apologize, love. I don't mind." Lucas slipped Nick's shoes on and knelt on the ground to tie them for him.
"Are you sure you're okay doing this?" He bit his lip.
"Yeah, of course, Nick." Lucas stood up and kissed him sweetly. "I love you. I'd do anything for you."
"Alright, as long as you don't mind," Nick got off the bed. "Let's go, he held out his hand."
Lucas took his hand and led him out. "So, where are we going?"
"Now, we go to get me discharged." he grinned. "You were so excited before it was too cute."
Lucas blushed, pouting. He wanted to argue, but he had nothing to retort with, so he just brought Nick to the front desk.
"You're going to have to discharge me because I can't really see…" he whispered.
"I know, love." Lucas signed the papers for Nick, making nervous small talk with the receptionist while doing so. Casual conversation wasn't his strong suit.
"Are you finished yet?" he asked. Nick touched his shoulder to locate where we were he was since he didn't have his hand to hold.
"Almost, Nick." Lucas finished signing the last papers and handed them back to the receptionist. "Alright, we can go now. C'mon."
He nodded and slid his hand down his arm to his hand. Nick walked to elevator and tried to locate the button. “Can you help me please?”
"Love, we don't need the elevator. We're already on the ground floor." Lucas gently led Nick to the door.
“I-I didn’t know that…” he felt even more embarrassed. “I mean I-I definitely knew that…”
"It's fine, Nick. Wanna take a cab to school or home or what?" He asked, pushing open the doors.
“A c-cab to school would be nice…” his head was positioned down as he could feel his cheeks heat up.
"Hey." Lucas gently tugged Nick down to kiss him. "You don't have to be embarrassed, love. I'm not judging you. I never will."
He nodded softly squeezing Lucas’s hand. “Maybe, I’m not ready for this…” he mumbled. “What if I make a fool of myself and everyone laughs and I’ll be helpless because I won’t be able to see…”
"I'll protect you baby, I promise." He kissed him again. "But if you want to go home, we can."
He shook his head. “N-No I want to do this…c-can you get the cab please…?”
"Of course." Lucas managed to flag down a cab after a couple minutes and guided Nick inside. He told the driver where they were going and they were off.
The car had reached the school and Nick sighed when the car stopped. “Are we here?”
"Mhmm." Lucas paid the driver, thanked him, and guided Nick out of the cab. "You ready, love?"
“Yeah,” he took a deep breath in and out and started to walk slowly. “This is going to be a very long day…”
