"Wait!-"
He fumbled, wanting to go after her. Something held him back though; what it was, he couldn't tell.

Gravity was just in the next room, curled on the couch, face in her hands and trembling. She started to cry, her emotions in a jumble.
Josh hesitantly rounded the corner, murmuring Gravity's name in concern.
Gravity just sat and sniffled, overwhelmed. She finally wiped her eyes and got up, switching on lights around the house. It was clear it wasn't a very lived in house. She looked at a picture for bit, sighing, not realizing Joshua was watching her.
The boy came up behind her and, without thinking, wrapped his arms around Gravity's waist. He murmured an apology into the other's neck.
Gravity stiffened and her breath caught. But she quickly relaxed and patted one of his hands with a sigh, non-verbally apologizing as well. "Are you tired?" she asked softly.
Joshua shrugged, grumbling into her.
"Don't want.."
Gravity raised and eyebrow and guided the both of them over to sit on the couch, still pressed into him. This was… comforting. She kicked off her shoes and picked her feet up off the floor to curl in a comfy ball.
Josh picked his head up to look at her, giving off a shaky smile.
Gravity pressed her lips together and looked away, shifting so she wasn't completely leaning on him, not wanting to repeat the previous incident. "What do you want to do?"
It seemed that the alien had fallen asleep. The appendages that covered his head unfurled and opened like a flower blooming to reveal a sort of glowing underbelly.
Gravity relaxed and smiled, sighing. She got up and gently laid him down on the couch, pulling out some blankets from under the coffee table and draping them over him. She yawned and went to her room, changing into her pjs and got her blankets and her stuffym, snaggles (a cute gray elephant) and brought them out to the living room, curling up and falling asleep on the floor next to the couch.
[majick time skip because fuck you]
{Coolio and I'd say yes please if it didn't feel like a bad time for it.}
(wait what do you mean)
(Nothing, just time skip, it's your turn)
Joshua opened his eyes, sleepily moving over to wrap his body around Gravity's. He groaned softly.
Gravity woke half up, pressing her body into Joshua's with a soft noise, yawning and tucking her head under his chin.
The male grumbled, burying his face in his companion's hair.
Gravity's stuffy was smushed between them, and Gravity's hair was a wreck, pulling free of the ponytail she had put it in last night.
Josh shifted, looking down upon Gravity with a sleepy expression.
"Morn'.."
Gravity looked blearily up at Joshua, mumbling something like a good morning back, but it wasn't quite comprehensible. She felt warm and snuggly, and didn't want to wake up. It wasn't normal that she had company, so it was nice to wake up and find someone there.
He sat up, stretching out his lanky arms with a shudder.
Gravity wasn't a morning person in the least, so she just grumbled softly to herself and pulled the covers over her head before poking a hand out to grope around for her stuffy.
Josh let out a faint gasp when Gravity's hand mistakenly touched his leg, some previously-unknown feeling coursing through his veins.
Gravity knew that wasn't her stuffy, so she just pulled her hand away and peeked out so she could grab her stuffy, mumbling an apology.
(Bump?)
(bump)
(Your turn)
The male leaned down, lips crashing against Gravity's in a sort of gasp. What happened next was dizzying for him as much as it was for her, a tangle of limbs, a dance of lips on skin.
