"Thank-you. Can you treat burns? There's a man over there who needs attention asap. I'd do it, but this fellow here's getting prepped for field surgery." He waved at the patient in the bed next to him. "You'll find whatever you need in those cabinets beside you, and if you need help then ask me or one of my assistants. Thanks again."

Cas nodded, making his way over to the man with the burns. He sat down beside him, taking the large backpack off his back and setting it on the floor. He began to fish for something in the pack, frowning as it took him a little to find it. Being mostly blind was occasionally irritating

(k) Cas nodded. "Yeah. Yeah I'm here to help you." He finally grabbed a small syringe and a scalpel before turning away from the injured man. Hopefully in his loopy state he wouldn't question the…odd methods he used to heal people. He rolled his sleeve up and used the scalpel to create a small incision. It bled black with hints of blue-green and he moved so the blood leaked into the syringe

The man squinted at him, trying to see what he was doing, but made no comment. "I've had worse, you know," he said dreamily. "When I was younger. At least, I like to tell myself I've had worse. Name's Vincent, by the way. Who are you?"

Cas shrugged. "No one important." The syringe finally filled, and he grabbed a small roll of bandages to wrap his cut with. He pulled his sleeve back down before grabbing a piece of cloth dipped in sterilizer in his other hand. He set the syringe down before gently moving the burnt sleeve out of the way. He dabbed at a spot on his arm before grabbing the syringe. "This may hurt a little."

@_sleeby_rat_

(it's cool lol) Cas took the syringe and jabbed it a tad forcefully into Vincent's arm, injecting the strange substance slowly. Small lines of blue-green began to trace the veins in his arm, and he took the syringe out. "You'll be fine after 8 hours of sleep. I suggest you rest as soon as possible."

Cas smiled, wrapping the syringe in a towel and setting it back in his bag. "Just doing my job." He shouldered his bag again before going to find the medic from before. He wanted to try and help as many people as he could while he was here before someone started to get suspicious of him

The medic was in the middle of re-assembling his patient's rib cage and he barely spared Cas a glance. "Got him? Good. There's some sick folk from last week behind that curtain, would you just go and do a routine check, make sure they're all comfortable? I haven't gotten the chance yet."

@Young-Dusty-the-Monarch-of-Dusteria group

The "sick folk" turned out to be five hunters infected with some kind of fever. Three were asleep, but one man was staring blankly at the ceiling, and the fifth, a teenager, was just waking up from a bad dream. He sat bolt upright as Cas came in, gasping. "Wha–who are you?"

@_sleeby_rat_

"I'm just here to check on all of you. I'm here to help your medic," Cas said. He grabbed a rolling chair nearby, sitting down next to the teenager. "Are you alright? You looked startled when I came in."

Cas smiled. "Mechanic, huh? My…Nephew is a mechanic part time. I've never been that good with machinery, but it's always been interesting to watch him work."

Eli relaxed, laying back in bed. "It's a lot of fun. I'm lucky to work for a big company like this. Honestly, the main thing I do besides repair work is building prosthetic limbs for people. Risky business, hunting demons. Can I have some water please?"

@_sleeby_rat_

Cas nodded, turning to find the sink and a cup. He grabbed the cup and filled it with water, but before he handed it to Eli a small vine-like twig extended into the water. He tapped the liquid, and it shimmered a greenish color before going back to normal. Satisfied, Cas handed him the cup. If he could get to everyone in this area, he assumed they would all be cured before the night was over

@_sleeby_rat_

Cas nodded, rolling over to the man who was awake. "What's his name?" he asked, taking his bag off and reaching into it

@_sleeby_rat_

"Odd. I would think a normal fever wouldn't do that," Cas commented. "What was he doing, if you don't mind my asking?" he said, grabbing an IV hookup full of water out of the bag. He turned away from Eli for a moment, giving the water the same effect that he had given the water he gave Eli before swapping it for the one already hooked to the man

"I think they were helping a little river town with a demon that was destroying their boats. Maybe somebody down there was sick, and he caught it from them?" Eli shrugged. "Medic says it's hard to treat sicknesses these days because antibiotics are so scarce and there's new mutations of the viruses every year. We can't keep up like we used to."

@_sleeby_rat_

Cas nodded. "Viruses are finicky things." He made a mental note to do his best to help restock the camp's supply of medicine. After all, what use was a god of healing if they couldn't do their job? He stared at Liam for a moment before rolling over to the next bed over. "What about this one? Have they all been unconscious?"
