"Hey wait!" i chase after Spinel which was easy for me to keep up due to me not being human

“Yeah?” She called back, slowing her pace (Which was actually quite fast) so Kiara could follow.

Spinel didn’t even glance at Kiara as she looked around, trying to spot even a sliver of purple. “I dunno’ what rain is, but you seem worried about it. If it’s dangerous, I need to get Amethyst, I don’t want her gettin’ hurt… And I told you; I don’t know where any buildin’s are.” The pink Gem retorted grumpily, staring at a rain drop that landed on her arm before flicking it off.

(Yes, I know, Spinel doesn’t, she thinks she’s human)

“Amethyst?!” She called, getting increasingly worried.

Poppy opened her mouth and let the rain go down her throat. Mmm! What tasty water!~ She thought to herself, letting the sweet yet tasteless water trickle her taste buds.

Spinel halted her search to stare at Poppy, looking rather disturbed at whatever she was doing. “…Could you not be so creepy about the sky-water…..?” She scowled, crossing her arms as if she didn’t want her gem anywhere near her, let alone even visible.

Poppy stopped suddenly and put her head down. “O-Oh… I just…”
It would be awkward to explain, or anything of the sort. Poppy knew water gave her energy, by inhaling it, not eating or drinking it, inhaling it.

“Weirdos, everyone here is a weirdo….” She scoffed under her breath. She didn’t even wait for a response before speaking; “What is this stuff anyway?” She asked, referring to the rain, which she was desperately trying to stay out of.

“Eh? Oh. This is rain.” Poppy said, the rain making her blond blue hair darker, and straightened it. “It helps plants grow, it’s soft and pretty, not to mention amazing on skin.”
Taily was under a bag, hiding from the rain. “I know you love water and all… but the rain is too much… it’s scary…”
Poppy smiled at Taily. “It’s not that bad… is it?”

“…Never heard of it. It’s not dangerous, is it?” She asked, keeping herself under a tree while still looking around. You could easily tell where she’d been hit by the rain, as there were little spots that appeared on her clothes.

Acantha appeared out of nowhere, literally. Apparently, she had heard Spinel’s and Poppy’s conversation. She hung upside down from a tree branch, letting the raindrops fall on her head, and transforming them into blue flowers that started to adorn her hair. “No, rain isn’t dangerous. It doesn’t hurt any creature, well. . unless it’s acid rain.”

Spinel looked up at her, then to the sky. “Huh. Earth is bonkers, water just randomly falls outta’ the sky once n’ a while? Like, how does that even work???” She asked herself, holding a hand out from under the tree to let the rain fall on it. She watched a droplet roll down her arm curiously, seeming pretty enchanted by the experience.

Eventually, amethyst decided to find spinel. She headed to the injector, hoping she was there.

The only thing that was there was Steven, camping out under one of the Injector’s legs. But he seemed pretty happy to see Amethyst, even if Spinel wasn’t there.

She went over to steven. "Hey stev, did you see where spinel went?"

“Yeah, this weird fox man wanted to talk to her about something. They went to the edge of the forest, but I think Spinel tried to get out of the conversation.” Steven replied, sitting up to point in the direction the two had gone in.

Kiara sighs and starts running off through the rain at unhuman speeds

Willow was just standing around, not bothered by the rain since she was a ghost and the rain just fell through her. She watched creatures scattering around, trying to find shelter to shield themselves from the rain.

“Uh, bye, I guess…” Spinel called after her, confused.

The night starts to fall upon the land and Kiara was hiding in the kindergarten in the old opening of when the first gems had popped from the earth's crust

She is sitting crouched in the opening then notices steven and amethyst under the injector and crawls out slightly and doesn't know if she can be seen but because of her young looks, she looks like a child about 5-7 years of age

Steven was still playing a tune on his guitar, but stopped as he looked to the side, seeing a patch of dead purple grass. To this, he simply stuck a finger in his mouth before placing it on the ground, making the grass flower and come back to life. He smiled proudly at his work before continuing his song, not seeming to notice Kiara.

comes out of hiding and goes under a different injector and smiles while watching steven play
