She turned her head away from him, looking out the window. "I made mistakes, I don't want to have to share." She whispered, feeling herself soften up. Though her fist was tightly clenched. "But if you want me to go down the list I will." Her voice was low and smooth, trying not to break down in front of him. "I don't have any more secrets though, I don't think. If I remember any more, I'll tell you immediately."
“What other ‘mistakes’ have you made?” He sighed and touched her shoulders.
"I don't want to act like a brat about it, and I don't want you to tell me what I did was OK. Don't tell me I'm fine, if anything agree with me and or scold me." She mumbled, before turning to look at him. "I've killed people, you know that. I did it for five years, at least. I tormented people, I bullied them. I wasn't- I'm not a nice person Raven."
“I already know that….what else?” He took a deep breath in and out.
"I ran away, from all my problems. My life was so messed up. Once Elias died, I took it out on the world. That's why I killed people. I later found out he didn't really love me… he just, was there." She continued to whisper, leaning back. "I let the deaths of my loved ones consume me, and I decided to take other people's. I-" Her voice cracked, and she felt tears stream down her cheeks. "I can't…"
“You decided to kill other people’s loved ones didn’t you?” Raven placed his hand on Ira’s cheek. “Hey, stop crying. Just tell me what happened.”
She nodded, her lip quivering as she tried to stop the tear flow. "Y-yeah, I did. I made mistakes, and I don't u-understand how you still love me." She quivered, trying to stop.
“Because every time I see you smile I fall in love with you again. There is nothing that you can do to make me leave you. I will always love you because I know that you love me just as much maybe more I don’t know. Just look at me okay?” He asked.
Biting her lip hard, she turned to look at him. "I'm looking." She whispered, wiping away her tears.
“I love you. So much. I will never doubt you. Yes, I will get mad and we will fight, but that’s the sign of a very healthy relationship,” he moved the hair out of her face.
She broke. At his gentle touch, and his loving words, she broke down into tears. “I don’t deserve you, not in the slightest.” She cried, hugging him tightly around the neck.
“Shhh, it’s okay,” he held her waist and and stroked her hair.
"I love you, so so much. I don't want to loose you." She continued to cry, holding him tightly. It wasn't awful, just warm tears slipped down her cheeks.
“And you won’t loose me. Promise,” Raven held Ira tight. “Come on let’s get some sleep.”
Regaining herself, she pulled away from him. "I'm sorry." She whispered, before lying down.
“I love you,” he smiled before closing his eyes.
"I love you more…" Ira told him, placing a hand on his chest. She just stared at his face, trying to relax.
“Mmmm, I love you most,” he chuckled tiredly. “Good night, Princess.”
"Good night, my beloved Raven." She whispered, pulling herself closer to him, pressing close.
(Yeah!)
Raven woke up before Ira. He yawned and rubbed his eyes. Raven looked down and saw his fiancé looking very cute, so he kissed her a couple times.
Ira's face scrunched up, and she groaned slightly, rolling over. "What time is it?" She moaned, holding a hand over her face.
“It’s time for me to love you in the morning,” he kissed down her neck. He kissed the back of her head and ran a hand through her hair.
"Mmmm, I guess I can accept that." She smiled, reaching back and taking his hand. Doing so, she pulled it around her curved waist to hold him closer.
“Sadly, we do have to get up though,” Raven kissed her shoulder. “If you won’t get up, well, I could always get you up a different way.” He flipped her. “So? Will my princess get up?”
"What's the other way?" She asked, raising her brow and giving him a dead serious look. "And aren't we suppose to be on vacation? Shouldn't we get to sleep in a little?"
“Yeah, but how are we going to plan our wedding in five days if we don’t get up,” he pointed out. “The other way is I cover you in hickeys.”
"I like that idea," She hummed with a smirk. "But maybe after our wedding, because I can't cover all of them with makeup." She teased, sitting up. "But I mean, one wouldn't hurt, now would it?"
Raven chuckled kissed a sweet spot on her neck and left a hickey. He kissed her jaw and then kissed her lips. “Come on. Time to get dressed.”
"But I prefer you not," She pouted, slipping her arms around his neck. "And I prefer not to be dressed, because you get all flustered."
