Poppy tried to dry her tears with her jacket, she didn’t want anything to happen. She knew when she cried, it would start pouring like a waterfall, literally. Poppy drowned an entire city because she stubbed a toe and cried. Poppy was very emotional and easily upset when she does something that makes others upset. “I just… I love earth… I didn’t mean it… I didn’t… I’m so sorry… I don’t want you to be sad…”
Poppy held back more tears, seeing someone cry in front of her hurt, especially when she did it. Poppy kept sniffing back her tears and snot trying to run down her face.

“Still… I-I made her sad…” Poppy sniffed back some tears, more of her tears started to flow out, they were fast. Poppy bit her tongue trying to get it to stop, which worked somewhat.

Poppy grabs the end of her baggy jacket, embarrassed somewhat. Wouldn't she be bothered by a hug? I mean… Lucy hugs Natsu from the back all the time… but they knew each other for a long time… I don’t know what to do…
Taily looks back, seeing that Poppy calmed down a bit, and flew over. “You feeling better Poppy?”
“I think so…” Poppy said, still sounding slightly sad.
Nightfall looked around at all of the scavenger-like creatures whom all seemed to know each other. She sighed, and wrapped her wings around herself, like a caterpillar in a cocoon.
Spinel sighed softly as she reached the Injector, staring up at the massive virus-like machine. “…What am I doing…?” She muttered to herself, looking at her hands with regret.
Amethyst sighed, sitting on the ground. It was almost as though she didnt feel quite complete when spinel wasnt with her. She shoves the feeling aside, wanting to give spinel her own space for a little while.
“Spinel?” A voice said in a worried tone.
“Oh, hey Steven.” She responded quietly.
“Where’s Amethyst?” Steven asked.
“We’re…taking a little time to ourselves…” Spinel sighed, looking away while rubbing her arm. Steven sat down on a patch of flowering grass, likely from a spot he healed, grabbing his guitar that was set to the side. He invited her to come sit down by him so they could talk things over. She joined him, a little ways away while Steven played a quiet melody, knowing that this always calmed him down, and hoped it would do the same for her.
“So, what happened?” He asked, giving her an inviting smile.
“Well…I kinda’ attacked everyone, and I came here to calm down.”
“Physically?”
“Verbally.”
“I see.” Steven nodded, closing his eyes to think.
“…Why do I wanna’ hurt everyone so bad….?” She asked sadly, glancing at him.
“…It’s because you have a big heart.” He answered. “In more ways than one.” Steven joked, pointing to her gem, which made Spinel chuckle softly. “You love so much, that when it’s taken away, you don’t know how to act, and get stressed… Like when you take a drop of water out of the sea, it sits there instead of making waves. Or when a leaf falls off a tree, it flys away.” He caught a leaf that flew from the breeze, and handed it to Spinel, who took it gingerly. Staring at it as she processed his analogy, but she smiled slightly, seeming to understand. She sighed quietly, closing her eyes to just be with her thoughts for a moment.
Poppy tried to smile, Lucy and Natsu were still at the lake, so she didn’t have her big sister for comfort. I shouldn’t be the one to be upset… I should help Spinel… but how? I made her upset…
I walk away from the apple tree and I walk towards spinel and steven as I have my head down
Steven tuned the guitar slightly, plucking the strings before continuing his song. His attention turned to Death as he walked over to them suspiciously. “Who’s that?” He asked, glancing at Spinel.
She just stared at him for a second before shrugging stoically.
Looks at spinel and I stand in front of her We need to talk spinel
“…About what?” She asked, resting an arm on her knee lazily.
In private glitches a little
She sighed, but accepted , standing up while Steven watched, trying to figure out who Death was. “Fine.”
