Cat smiled at the text and saved her contact. “Yes you do” she sent back smiling as she stared at the screen.

"Now what?" Lotus responded a smirk appearing on their face, "We have a gif war or something?"

Cat sent a gif of a man shrugging. ”not sure” she lasted down on the couch listening to music through headphones while they texted she can almost ignore the others talking and the babies constant crying.

Lotus grinned and sent one back, "Smh". They were grinning and went back to working on homework.

Cat went back to her drawing. She ended up just drawing in her hand. It’s a rose.

Lotus looked down to their hand seeing the rose slowly appear. They smiled and honestly never though they would have that reaction to seeing their soulmate draw something.

Cat stopped drawing after awhile. The rose and Number disappeared late that night. She couldn’t sleep but she laid there thinking.

Lotus glanced over at the clock and realized it was close to almost 2 am. They looked at their calendar and saw they still had plenty to do. Letting out a sigh they went down stairs grabbed an energy drink before heading back upstairs, Looks like I'm pulling an all nighter.

Cat was exhausted the next morning. She had a coffee cup in her hand as she walked into English. She didn’t get any sleep the night before. She blames it on the baby but once her mind had no distractions she kept on thinking.

Lotus was in the classroom already. They already drunk one energy drink combined with a shot of 5 hour energy. Honestly, they knew they would crash right around lunch, but at least they would be alright for a while. They gave Cat a grin as she entered the classroom.

Cat waved back smiling weakly at them. There was an empty seat next to her. She tasted her head on the propped up arm. She’s definitely going to fall asleep in all of her classes.

Lotus looked to see Cat also struggling to stay awake. Look at the, a pair of sleep deprived idiots.

(I can’t read. Let’s say they are next to each other I thought you said Lot just walked in)
Cat struggled to keep her eyes open. “How was your night?” She asked them before yawning.

(Lol. Got it.)

"Busy," Lotus shrugged. They supressed a yawn and gave a nod, "Yours?"

“Loud,” she said finials resting her head on the desk. She brought her hand down to lightly hold Lotus’. “What did you do all night?”

"Homework, commisions," Lotus responded with a shrug noticing Cat's hand in theirs, "Had a lot to do apparently."

Cat nodded. “Makes sense. You probably should have slept though. You could make yourself sick if you stay up to much,” she said smiling at them.

"I'll be fine," Lotus waved her off. They began to mess around with Cat's fingers, "This isn't my first all nighter."

Cat shook her head. “You still shouldn’t,” she said letting Lotus mess with her hand. She looked at them distracted enough not to feel as tired.

"I'll be fine," Lotus insised once more. They were focused intently on the way their and Cat's fingers bent together. It seemed to take all of their attention.

Cat nodded and smiled sitting up not. The teacher started talking about a project. Cat didn’t let go of Lotus’ hand. She still let them mess around. Her fingers where loose to allow them full range.

Lotus didn't even know the teacher had started to talk. They were so intently focused on how each of Cat's fingers bent when they pushed. It was fascinating to them.

Cat smiled at the feeling of Lot pushing on her fingers. She tried to pay close attention to the teacher. Luckily they where working in groups of 2 and can pick partners.

Lotus blinked a few times and reaized class had started and was already partially in. They felt their cheeks heat up slightly in embarrassment. They looked to Cat sheepishly, "What did I, uh, miss?"

“We are doing a project. Groups of two and we get to choose partners,” cat explained smiling. She looked them rubbing their hand with her thumb.

"Oh," Lotus felt a tingle run through their body at the slight motion. They had a grin on, "Partners?"

“Hmmm I don’t know a lot of people have already asked me,” she joked with a straight face.

Lotus' face fell a little. They looked back down thinking they had missed their chance, "Oh, okay."
