“Caroline!” He shouted at her as she walked away. “Come back here!” He hated this, is this how everyone else felt? He thought he at least answered their questions. But did he? Was this exactly what he did? No, this was different, none of those girls actually liked him, they just liked feeling special. This was really different, did he admit he liked her? A little yeah, but he didn’t care right now.
Caroline rolled her eyes and turned around to look at him" what is it" she asked
He ran up to her and put his hands on her waist. “I thought you weren’t playing with me.” He said softly, nudging her over to the wall.
" I'm not" she whispered in his ear
He kept his one hand on her waist, and one up by her head. “Then why’d you walk away? I consider that playing.” He said softly, trying not to take this too far.
She looked up at him " yes but let's not forget one thing… I'm not a player I'm just an innocent 18 year old girl" she said
“Innocent? I wouldn’t say that much, nobody is innocent Caroline.” He smirked some, speaking in a soft and soothing tone.
She ran her hands up his chest to rest her palms on his shoulders " perhaps"
“So you really believe your innocent? At 18 you’ve gotta have done something worth your while.” He clicked his tongue glancing up at the clock.
She leaned up as if she was gonna kiss him but kissed his cheek
He smiled softly, letting her do so. “What’s your next class?” He asked her, rubbing her side.
"chemistry" she said leaning into his touch
“That’s a little ironic.” He smirked hoping she’d ask why. It was stupid, but he really wanted her to.
She clicks her tongue, " and why is that" she said
He tried not to giggle, but was failing. “Because I feel chemistry between us.” He snorted some, loosing his cool.
"I knew you were going to say that" she said nudging him with her elbow
“Did you now? Well I guess my joke was ruined.” He sighed dramatically pulling away from her. His hand stayed on her hip.
She giggled at his playful manner as they passed students in the hallway untill they came face-to-face with Collins
“Oh- uh hey man!” Brad said pulling away from Caroline. Collins smiled softly. “Hey…” he replied in a dreadfully dreary tone.
Caroline got the hint " I'll go" she said to brad then looked at Collins " excuse me" she said before starting to walk off
Brad knew he had just screwed up, but he would talk to her later. "Everything ok man?" Brad asked in a concerned tone. Collins nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine." He replied through gritted teeth.
Caroline wants back while she walked past them with about three football jocks and Amber but one of the guys Zach was his name was flirting with Caroline
Brad sighed, knowing he wasn't OK, but wasn't going to push. "If you say so, I need to get to class. I'll talk to you after school, or at lunch." Brad smiled walking off quickly to his next class.
The day pass until it was lunch her friends have gone off but the guy was still there flirting with her and Caroline was getting pretty annoyed but she didn't let him know that
Brad went through his lunch routine, girls coming up to talk to him, and him pushing them off. Today, there was only one girl he wanted to see, but she was a little busy..
Zack slowly creeped his hand down her arm into the inner part of her thigh
Brad didn't like that, not one bit. "Hey man, whatcha doing there?" He asked Zach, gritting his teeth. He knew this was most likely bothering Caroline, and was ready to take on someone else for her sake.
"loving on my girl" Zach said
"I am not your girl" she mumbled
"Yeah, back off Zach." Brad snapped at him. "I don't believe you asked her out, or she said yes. So get you a** out of here."
He was seething, wanting to beat the snot out out of this jerk.
Zach backed up leaving Caroline in the lunchroom
