Charles sighed as he caught her. ”That’s not funny, Elizabeth.” he said firmly.

" it's a little funny dad you got to let me get away with it today I am a bride today so' she said

”No.” he shook his head. ”You are a bride but that doesn't mean that you can fake a medical emergency.” he told her. ”You can try to convince your husband to leave.”

"no I'll just go sit down" she said with a pout and went and sat down at one of the round tables resting her chin in the palm of her hand.

Charles sighed and let her go.

Lysander smiled a little and walked over to sit next to Betty. ”You alright, my love?”

Betty nodded with a small smile

Lysander smiled softly back and kissed her cheek.

"You having fun?" She asked

”A little.” he admitted. ”Honestly, I've never been one for big parties.”

"me either I tried to fake it seizure but Dad wouldn't let me" she said

Lysander choked on his drink at her comment. ”What? Why would you do that?”

"I was feeling… Rebellious" she said moving over to sit in his lap

He chuckled and wrapped his arms around her waist as she sat down. ”I don't think a seizure is a good way to be rebellious.” he smiled a little.

She whined, "you're so mean" she said with a pout

”How am I mean?” he asked raising a brow.

" because I'm your wife and I said so"she said with a smirk

He chuckled at her, somewhat, childish response and nuzzled against her neck. ”How badly do you want to leave?” he asked.

"I can stay I guess"she said with a pout

”If you want to leave, we can sneak out at any time.” he promised.

She smiled " maybe another hour or two" she said

He nodded. ”That sounds fair.”

" but until then" she said snuggling into him

He smiled and held her close. ”I’ll be right here for you.”

She nodded as Tyler sat on the other side of the table

He smiled and gave Tyler a nod in greeting.
