”You were.” he confessed. ”As impossible as it is for me; I thought I was seeing heaven when I saw you.”

She giggled "you don't look so bad yourself" she said

”I promise; you look better.” he smiled before reaching for his tie. ”I felt like this thing was trying to choke me a couple time.”

Betty reached up adjusting his tie so it was loose but it still looks proper

Lysander smiled softly and held still as she fixed his tie. ”Thank you.”

"anytime" she said with a wink

He chuckled a little at the wink before looking up at the window. ”I think we're here.”

Yay I love these things you get married to someone and then the rest of the night you get pulled away from him" she said

He raised a brow at the description. ”Really? Well, I promise to stay by your side during this event.” he smiled. ”Except for the father-daughter dance. I can't get in the way of that.”

She sighed,"I need you to help me get out of the car" she said

”Alright.” he smiled and opened the car door, getting out first before offering his hand to help Betty.

Betty grabbed his hand pulling herself out of the vehicle

Lysander held her hand gently and placed his other hand against her back to help her keep her balance as she stood up.

Betty stumbled falling into his chest"I hate this dress" she said

He quickly caught her as she started to fall. ”You can change it to something more comfortable after the reception.” he assured her. ”I know I will.”

" oh I will I have one of your long shirts in the back" she said.

Lysander raised a brow with a little chuckle. ”Really?”

" yes for me so back off mister " she said poking him firmly in the chest

He chuckled and put his hands up in surrender. ”You can wear it. I have something packed for me to wear.”

" good I didnt want to have to beat you up" she teased

”No need for that.” he shook his head. ”Shall we go in?”

Betty let out a breath and held out her hand

Lysander smiled and took her hand, leading her into the reception hall.

" this should be fun" she said sarcastically

”I really hope it is.” he said honestly.

Henry had already arrived with Tyler earlier and true to his word he let her go once they arrived but he was still close by. ”Ladies and gentlemen! Presenting Mr. and Mrs. Castevau!”

"good gosh" Betty said barrying her head in his shoulder as people applauded and cheered

Lysander was likewise embarrassed but still smiled. ”How do you want to get back at him?” he whispered to her.

"well all disappear so when he wakes up he's all alone" she said

”A little mean but doable.” he told his bride. ”We just have to get some strong drinks to him. He's not an alcoholic but he’ll probably have a little more than normal tonight.”
