I haven’t been wearing my braces for very long but I’m already noticing that my one of my teeth has sort of begun to move!

It was one of my first (late) adult teeth, but because of how the baby tooth root didn’t go away, and how the adult tooth came in behind, it was crooked. I’ve had to deal with looking at a crooked tooth every time I go in the mirror, so I’m quite happy by this news.
cleaning will be so, so much easier

oK i mEAn after they're off, for most people. If you have crowded teeth, braces lining them up and seperating them will make it easier to floss and stuff. But yeah while they're on it's usually not super clean lol.

My sister painted some cleats for her now ex-long distance boyfriend and he said some mean shit to her just now. I ended up comforting her and making her laugh with this gem of a line:
"Listen, save those conversations. Once you get the money, send them to his mother and then block EVERYONE. Drop the dynamite in the pot and close the lid!"
She feels a lot better now, but the day she fully cuts ties with that bastard can't come soon enough.

i spoke up in class, to call someone out on their bigotry. granted, i'm incredibly nauseous now, but it was worth it

I bought my first car today! It's a silver beetle and it's super cute! Before that I was driving my dad's car which wasn't really my favourite to drive. I'm so happy and excited to finally have a car to call my own :D

i got assigned to research dante alighieri for a project and that makes me way too happy-

I had a really good and productive day today and I had a really good talk with my mom about possibly going back to school. Nothing is really set in stone yet, and I'm still looking into it, but I might be doing a creative writing diploma. I'm kinda nervous since I haven't been in school for like 4 years, but I'm kind of excited as well.

Today at the end of my shift a colleague told me one of my patients had called and needed me to come quickly. I was really surprised and also worried because he was going home later and I thought something went wrong/there was some sort of unforseen emergency(its my first week working with my own patients unsupervised, so I worry even more than usual).
Turns out he caught a ladybug that flew in through the window and wanted to show me before he left. It was the sweetest thing, I smiled so much after that…
