"Goddammit," the woman mumbled, rubbing the bridge of her nose. She stood again.
"Thanks, Matthew. I need to go get her." She waved goodbye, obviously in a sour mood as she stormed away. Hinata, after a moment to make sure her sister would come running in again, sighed in relief, making her way back over to Matthew.
"Thanks for covering for me," She said, turning her jacket right side out again.
”No problem, I do that for everyone so it’s only natural” he claimed, handing the files back to the parrot’s feet as the parrot shifted to a helicopter and went out the window, perhaps back to the Labyrinth.
”By the way, have you visited Sora lately?”
"No, not of late." She chuckled nervously. "I haven't visited since that huge bar fight I started. Figured I didn't need to be stirring up any more trouble. Still don't regret it, though." She pulled her feet up onto the stood, sitting cross-legged now.
Matthew chuckled a bit, turning to the Bartender.
”Hey Barkeep, you know a Phantom named Sora? He works as a Bartender as well but by Realm 57. He’s damn good at Poker and Chess if that helps” the man asked, letting his cat walk over to sit on Hinata’s lap.
"I don't know if the Barkeep is all here right now." The winged figure waved their hand in hello. "You can call me Nee, if you want. Sorry I can't give you my full name."
Hinata smiled, scratching the cat's head lightly. She looked over when the winged figure spoke up, but turned her attention back to her group after a moment. Mostly just Matthew, but she didn't admit to that fact.
”Ah, alright. You can call me Matthew, ‘cause that’s my real name” the man replied to the winged fellow with a small smile.
He turned back to Hinata and leaned a little closer to her.
”I might need to go soon… I’ll need to go give them a visit” he claimed with a rueful smile as the cat jumped up and plopped itself onto his face.
Hinata was disappointed that Matthew was leaving, but she didn't let it show. Well, it didn't show much.
"Ah, right," she said, smiling a little.
Matthew gave her a small smile before he walked out the door. Another figure came in and greeted the man as he left, sitting on the stool he had just occupied.
”Oh, hi! I didn’t expect to see you here!” Serena, Matthew’s sister, had greeted the Balance Keeper with her signature childish smile.
"Hey Serena!" Hinata said with a smile, looking over when Serena spoke.
"Yes, most people don't for some reason."
(Gonna drop due to school. I'm sorry.)
