Joanna was surprised when she was handed the gift, and looked to her with a frown. "It's fine, but I didn't get you anything." She told her, feeling bad at that fact. She should've known better, but with her days mixing up, she barely even had time to get Tempest a gift. She should know Ember would most likely brush it off, but she couldn't help feeling bad.
"aw it's your first year with us I'll let it slide." Ember smirked and nodded to her "Open it up girl"
Joanna nodded, sucking in a deep breath, and letting it out quickly. She opened up the box, curious to see what was inside.
Jo had read about was was inside the box for in many mystery novels or detective shows. Inside was a little forensic kit. "I heard what you wanted to do Jo." Ember told her.
Tempest gave his sister a thumbs up, all smiles
Joanna blinked, a shocked look on her face. Her brow fell, along with her jaw. "I- but-?" She was barely able to get two words out, much less full coherent sentences. "But… you?" She wasn't even sure what to say at this point.
"Shh it's okay I called in a favor. Plus…you deserve it after the happiness you've brought him" She nodded towards Tempest
Joanna flushed some, and set the gift aside. “Thank you, so much.” She said hugging Ember.
"No problem it's my pleasure." Ember told her, her eyes shifting to cat-like pupils but her form remained the same
Joanna pulled away and turned to Tempest, hugging him as well. “Thank you.” She whispered to him.
"Hey I believe you'll live your dream someday." he muttered back
She pulled out of the hug, and she grinned up at him. “You really are a dream come true.” She whispered again, and took his hands in hers. “I love you.”
"Really? That's funny cause even in my wildest dreams I never thought I would find someone as sweet, pretty, stable woman." He told her as his thumbs rubbed her hands
Her face grew pink again, and she looked to the floor. “Yeah, sure “stable”.” She joked, tilting her head back up. “But for real, you’re everything I could ever want and more.”
"Hey you've made me stable again love…you're my rock, my anchor…my everything and more…much more"
She bit her lower lip, and tried to hide the smile she was gaining. “Stop, I am not.” She said shoving his shoulder lightly, tilting her head back to the floor.
"Yes you are love" He responded, gently poking her belly with each word
Joanna giggled, pulling away. "Stop~" She whined, putting both hands to her face. "You're lying."
"I could never to you Jo" he promised
(Ack, sorry. I had to go preform tonight and legit just got home)
She walked closer to him, burying her face into his chest. "But you are." She whined, muffled by him.

Tempest held her close and whispered over her "come on Home you can't deny what I hold true" he stroked her hair. The party seemed to be nearing it's end as some people were cleaning up the party's mess
She sighed, pulling away and looking up to him. "Alright, fine, you win." She smiled tenderly, standing up tall to kiss his cheek. "We should help out cleaning up."
"Yeah I'll start by cleaning up the…competition." He chuckled
Joanna laughed, and turned around. “Where should I start?” She asked him.
"Snowflake streamers need to come down" he told her as he cleaned
"M'kay!" Jo hopped over quickly to where some were, and started pulling them down.

"Man that was the best party in a while!" Tempest said as he he stood back to make sure he had gotten everything. "And…I know why." He smiled just a bit
Joanna tossed away a paper towel she had used to wipe down one of the tables. "And, why is that?" She asked, lifting her gaze from the now clean table to look at his. She didn't have a smile on her face, but she was happy none the less just being here.
"Because of Ember…and you." I hadn't seen Ember in forever and you because…well I love you." He responded
A slight smile slipped onto her lips now, as she walked over to him. "I'm happy you're happy."
"And I always love when you're happy. Funny how that works." He chuckled as he patted his pocket to make sure he had the studio and car keys
