“I-I want to agree. Believe me I do my love. But my family…they’re important to me too. It’s hard…you know?” He glanced over, eyes troubled
“I-I want to agree. Believe me I do my love. But my family…they’re important to me too. It’s hard…you know?” He glanced over, eyes troubled
“I don’t actually. I never really cared for anyone, but you. I would give up everything for you in a heartbeat. But then again you were always the sentimental one.” he smiled. “I should go home. I’ll see you tomorrow?” Axel stood up from the swing.
Jas’ grip tightened on Axel’s hand and he gently pulled him close “How about coffee in the morning? Or hot chocolate? I don’t drink coffee much.” He pulled him closer and wrapped his arms securely around his waist. He stood and leaned forwards and brushed his lipstick against axel’s “Please say yes my love?”
“Fine~” he rolled his eyes. “When you say it like that,” he kissed his lips before letting go. “Where?”
He smiled and pressed their heads together “the coffee shop down the road from the abandoned factory?” He suggested, letting him go and shoving his hands in his pockets
“You got it. I’ll see you tomorrow,” he looked down with a smile on his face. Axel walked home all jittery and such. He could wait for tomorrow, but he also wanted to talk to Jas about something.
He nodded and walked off in a different direction. He smiled as he thought about his other half and how he finally returned. “I already want you back in my arms my love.” He opened the door to his home with a grin and embraced his sister as she’s came running to him “tell. Me. Everything! Your so adorably blushing!”
When Axel got back in the house his mother was waiting. “So? What happened. Did you mean a guy~?” She teased.
“Mom! I-I did, but I’ll tell you about it later I’m going to go take a shower…” Axe laughed before heading upstairs and soon going to bed after he took a shower.
Jas brought her up to his room and told her everything, about his lives, about Axel, the only thing he left out was his job. He didn’t need her to be more freaked out than she already was. Once she had calmed down, he sent her to bed and showered. Settling into bed, he had forgotten to ask for Axel’s number. Cursing softly he went to sleep hoping he wouldn’t forget about the date the next day
when Axel woke up and rolled and rolled and until he hit the ground. "Ow ow ow ow," he held the back of his head and stood up. Axel started to walk to his closet picking out clothes. He wanted to look go for Jas. So he picked out the best thing possible. Once Axel was done he started to walk to the cafe.
Jas was awakened by his sister nudging his shoulder "quick, mom and dad are still asleep. you can still sneak out." she said in a hushed tone, handing him skinny jeans and a sweatshirt. "go before they wake up."
Jas groggily got up and slipped on the clothes before giving his sister a kiss on the head "thanks, don't get into any trouble while I'm gone." he said, slipping out the window of the two story home
He sat in the cafe, drinking ta, and waiting for Jas. "He better not have ditched me."
Jas swung open the door after a few moments of walking and peeking inside, looking up from his hoodie and looked around. He spotted Axel and walked over shyly "Hey, sorry if i'm late, my sister just woke me up."
“It’s alright. I was just hoping you wouldn’t ditch me,” he giggled. Axel played with his hands. “I-I already ordered…by the way…have you um.” He coughed. “Have you thought about you know the whole ‘job’ thing?”
“I would never ditch you. I might be late but I’d never ditch.” He offered a soft smile and pulled away the hood that covered his hair. “Bold move to order another guy’s meal. I hope you got my favorite,” he winked and glanced up at Axel. “I haven't, but now that you mention it…I’m still as unsure as I was last night.”
“Right, I…I shouldn’t rush you. Well, I’ve known you since the beginning so, I know pretty much everything you eat. As weird as it sounds,” Axel kept looking down at his hands when he spoke.
“It’s alright.” Jas gently took Axel’s hand a in his and smiled “it sounds extremely weird.” He teased “but I’m excited to see what you’ve ordered.”
Axel laughed lightly. "Jeez, you're such a flirt!" He leaned foward. "What are you so excited about hmm?"
“The food of course! Haven’t had breakfast yet and I’m hungry. Unless there’s something else I should be excited about?” He arched an eye brow and smirked at Axel. “Is there something you’re not telling me?”
Axel blushed furiously, already thinking of the wrong things. He shook his head quickly. "No! There's nothing that I'm hiding!"
He chuckled softly "then why are you blushing, dear? Did you think of something scandalous? do tell…" he purred, propping his head on a hand as he gently stroked Axel's hand with his thumb
"I-It's nothing…" he said softly. Axel looked away trying to calm down. He intertwined their fingers. "Actually…there was something I wanted to ask…It's a stupid question so I just want to know. Is that okay?"
Jas tilted his head slightly "sure, ask away." his focused on Axel, slightly dropping his smile as his concern grew "Is everything alright?"
"What? Yeah, yeah, everything is fine. Umm, am I your boyfriend? Or is it too soon?" He asked. "I told you it was a stupid question….there's one more after this one though."
He thought for a moment before nodded and smiling "yeah, unless you don't want to be? I know this all has been so sudden. we can be friends for now if you want." he said, suddenly hyper aware of their intertwined hands. what if he didn't want this and was only doing it because he's trying to make you comfortable?
"No, no, no, no, I do I really, really do. I was asking you because you didn't really remember us so I just wanted to know if you felt the same way I feel about you…" Axel looked down with a big smile, that wouldn't go away.
He looked at the table for a moment, relieved to hear that Axel felt the same. “I don’t remember everything but I remember our love for each other.”
"Wel, I really do love you. So you are now officially my boyfriend." Axel leaned over and kissed his lips. "Second question. Why don't you remember anything?"
He cupped his cheek gently and hummed into the kiss before letting him sit back down. “I’m not really sure… I remember someone taking me apart and slowly killing me…I always attribute do that to a nightmare. My attacker always held something shiny, like a light in his hand before he dropped it like it didn’t him.”
"We'll figure this out. I promise. I'll get your memories back." Axel touched the hand on his cheek with a smile.
