Serena gave a small cough as she walked up to her brother.
”Cassius’ and Sorsha’s results are in~” the researcher claimed.
”Ah, that’s great. I’ll have to see that” Matthew smiled proudly at his sister.
Vincent saw this and walked down the hall.
”Conziac is in ‘D’, right?” the Viscount asked Serena.
”Yep” the researcher answered as Vincent disappeared into the shadows.
”Come on! Follow me!” Serena said excitedly, leading Hinata and Matthew into her office.
Hinata was worried for Serena and Matthew- Serena because of the cough and the fact she had a feeling it was very much more than just that, and for Matthew because of what just happened. Still, she hid it well, smiling as she followed Serena into her office.
On the big screen within Serena’s office, some tables of experimental data were fully filled out. First one was of the Knight named Cassius, the other of a Knight named Sorsha.
”Cassius after receiving the ‘chemical’, as expected, showed less signs of reasonableness and as a result, showed aggression towards people crossing the lines between them and his family” Serena read the documents she had which was supported with the data presented on the big screen.
”Sorsha, on the other hand, was calmer when she got the ‘chemical’. She had been said to be more critical when it comes to her thinking process and doesn’t act as aggressively as she used to” the researcher stated, showing another image, one of the ‘chemical’ she talked about.
”Now, we need two more test subjects and I don’t really know who might be interested”

Damien was a bit surprised by the request. To ask a Knight to help her find a lost soul? That’s got to one of the weirdest he’s ever gotten. He thought for a bit…
”Sure. Tell me her name, appearance, you know—the basic stuff”
Jade nodded and started thinking about her sister then spoke "A-ya is her name and she is about my hair, fair skinned, short light blonde hair, eyes that look like they swallowed the sun, freckles, and a smile i would know from a mile away" her eyes growing dark with sadness as she held back tears and a quake came to her voice but in a few deeps breaths she had calmed herself
The Knight nodded.
”Alright, I’ll get back to you if I find someone like that. Oh, by the way, the exit to the maze is just to the left” Damien mentioned as he flew away, back into the deeper ends of the maze.
Jade put a marker spell on the wall to make it easy to find this place again then continued on to try and find A-ya as well
Soon, a somewhat familiar figure would appear near Jade as she left the building.
”That idiot…” she mumbled under her breath as she walked pass Jade, seemingly not acknowledging her existence.
Kazumi would soon lead Kye across the plains, pointing at a large statue in the middle of the field.
”That is a sculpture of a Warrior who created the plains; his name is Fleura Chord. He was claimed to have died protecting this here plain but we couldn’t really confirm that” the Knight explained.
Kye gave a nod and looked down at his hands. Something flashed in his head as he looked at them. Dislike crossed his face and he looked away, an aura of disappointment seemed to surround him. "You ever done something out of your control but it still haunts you everytime you close your eyes?" he asked sounding very calm, but also upset.
Jade saw the girl and called out in greeting "Hello" even in the casual tone she stayed alert as she spoke

Kazumi turned back towards the plain and having both of the horses; both the one he was on and the one Kye was on, to follow him.
”Of course… a lot, actually” he answered and added quite simply. These Knights didn’t seem to enjoy about their pasts very much.
The female figurine turned towards the sound.
”You need something? If not, I have to go somewhere” the female’s voice was hurried and was anxious.

(Well, the camp wasn’t designed to kill someone. But in all fairness, it was pretty close to that XD)
(Maybe when it was being designed, the architects wanted it to kill someone, but their general creation of it kind of failed, so people just almost died, but didn't actually.)
(Perhaps. Though with the duty I was assigned, I highly doubt I would die. You see, the camp was divided into four sectors; general soldiers, specialists, medics, and technicians. I was assigned as a medic :P)

Hinata nodded along, thinking quietly.
"What about Jonathan?" She asked. She tried to think of someone else, eventually coming up with a face.
"And… Aisen? That was his name, right?"

Jade nodded and explained vaguely "I am looking for a lost soul as is someone else"

”Jonathan? Oh, the kid who works with Cassius. He might be excited. Aisen’s fine too, Sorsha took the ‘chemical’ after all” the scientist replied as she arranged the documents on her table. She coughed again, this time she was covering her mouth. It seemed like it was getting worse but she didn’t exactly show any other signs of illness.
”Well, if you’re free, can you go look for them for me? I’ll need to prepare the ‘chemicals’”
”So am I. I wanna help but sorry, that’s none of my business just yet” the female quickly said as she ran down the field. More likely than not, the person she was looking for was in trouble.

"Sure thing," Hinata said. Once again, Serena's cough worried Hinata, but she said nothing. She turned and made her way towards the exit, off to find Jonathan and Aisen.

Matthew soon followed though Serena held on to his sleeve for a bit.
”Hmm? What is it?” Matthew asked.
The scientist muttered something under her breath, a bit too soft for anyone to hear.
Once she realized that she couldn’t say what she wanted to without worrying someone, she stepped back and gave both her brother and his friend a goodbye with a cheerful smile before going back to her desk.
Matthew blinked a bit before he turned to Hinata.
”Let’s go”

What had that noise been, earlier? Adara shook her head in confusion. She still didn't know what had happened to Matthew, when he had disappeared, and after gettin absolutely no answers from anyone on what was going on, she had left.
