Max watched the two kids nerding out together. "Well, looks like its just us huh?" He picked up Hermes.

Hermes purred and hopped onto the table, examining Max's homework. He placed one small paw on the correct answer, looking between Max and the paper.

"Uh…Okay?" Max looked at the homework. "Wow! Its..right!" He turned to Lloyd. "Hey! Are you sure your cat isn't animagus?"

"Hmm? No, I've checked. He's just really smart. It almost seems like he's human sometimes, though. But I made sure my brother did the spell that would reveal an animagus on him."

"Interesting…" Max walked over to them. "Hows it goin with the potion? Felixes- Felixema-….How do you say it?"

"Lets just call it the potion of luck." She replied.

"Felix Felicis. But yes, Liquid Luck is it's most commonly used name." Hermes continued looking over the paper.

"I don't understand I've did everything in the book and I even check." She said and she took out the book she used. "See,"

(I can get injured somehow lmao. I do like torturing my characters)
"Hmm… did you make sure the ingredients were fresh and untainted?"

(Are you just makin this up?)
Max peered at it. "Huh…."

(The tainted stuff? Yes. The instructions I copied from the wiki page lol)
Hermes meowed loudly, pointing out an incorrect answer on Max's paper.

"Can I borrow your cat? Hes amazing…"

"Yeah, sure. Just don't steal him." Lloyd laughed, stroking Hermes' ears.

"I don't understand I've did everything in the book and I even check." She said and she took out the book she used. "See,"

(Lloyd asked this after she said that, since the book didn't mention anything about the quality of the materials but everyone knows they should be checked. It's an unwritten step.)

"I even checked if the ingrediants wee fresh and untaint." She added.
