Aliana's mind raced through what could happen and what this could mean.

Hatta knew that if he kissed her, he would be starting something he wasn't sure he could stop. And with the state of his mind…he didn't know if that was a good idea.

Aliana knew she shouldn't want him to love her, or even like her. He wasn't in the right state of mind for something like that and it was more of her selfish wants.

Hatta took a deep breath. Plus there was the possibility that he would turn into the Jabberwocky, and…he didn't want to hurt her.

Aliana kept her selfish wants to herself. She knew the risk and despite wanting to take a leap of faith, she knew it was best not to.

Hatta really, really didn't want to hurt her. But he also wanted to kiss her.

Aliana bit her lip until she finally burst out quietly, "Can, can we kiss?"

Hatta blinked, looking at her. "I…" he took a deep breath. Yes. Say yes.

Aliana glanced away her face burning, "You, you don't have to say yes. Or anything. It was just, um, a thought."

Hatta let out the breath slowly. "I…" he said again. He didn't know how to say it. What to say.

Aliana buried her head against him taking his silence as a no, "Nevermind. Forget, Forget I said anything."

Hatta shook his head. "No, I just…I want to. I just don't know if…if it's a good idea."

Aliana's head looked up at him slowly as she heard what he was saying. She blinked once or twice, "Um, yeah. I, uh, wasn't really think about it like that."

Hatta swallowed softly. "Yeah. I…"

Aliana blinked again, "It's, it's up to you okay? No pressure."

Hatta smiled a little bit. "Isn't that supposed to be my line?" he asked teasingly.

Aliana laughed a little as she smiled up at him, "I guess it is."

Hatta smiled again. Kiss her. His mind insisted again, and he swallowed.

Aliana's traitorous mind wanted him to kiss her so badly. Her eyes flicked to his smiling lip as she smiled back at him before flicking back up to his eyes.

Hatta took a deep breath. Aw, to hell with it. And he kissed her.

Aliana went still, despite wanting even craving this she hadn't expected him to do it. It did't take long for her to melt into the kiss and kiss him back.

Hatta held her gently, his kiss just as gentle as his hands were.

Aliana kept herself close to him being gentle soft. Not wanting to the moment to end.

Hatta closed his eyes, mouth still to hers.

Aliana's eyes fluttered shut as she hummed slightly pushing herself that much closer to him.

Hatta held her close, pulling away after a moment. He opened his eyes to look at her.

Aliana felt Hatta disappear. She blinked her eyes open and looked up at him her cheeks tinted pink. She didn't know whether to kiss him again or wait for his reaction.

Hatta raised his eyebrows at her. "So…" He trailed off, not sure what to say now. He bit his lower lip just a little, studying her carefully.
