He closed his eyes. ”I missed you so much.”

"I-I mis-sed you too" she she her voice trembling her tiny cries now audible

Lysander sighed softly and started rubbing her back gently.

" I was supposed to come back but then I got in some trouble and I couldn't come back without putting you all in danger." She said she had vampire bites all over her wrists

”W-what kind of trouble?” he asked, pulling back a little so he could look at her, his eyes finally back to their normal green.

She wiggled out of her leather jacket and showed him her arms with the bites on them

Lysander stared at her arms. He raised a hand and lightly traced some of the marks. ”What happened?”

" I became a blood bag… Again " she said looking at the floor not meeting his eyes.

”Oh, Betty.” he sighed and pulled her back into the hug.

"apparently that's all I'm good for" she said.

”No. You're not.” he shook his head.

" then tell me what I'm good for because I don't know" she said

”You’re good for me.” he said, sure he would be blushing. ”I’m a complete mess without you. I-I know that probably sounds selfish but… You’re very kind and generous as well. And I’m sure you’d make an amazing mother one day.”

She sighed Gently resting her head on his shoulder

”I’m so glad you're back.” he murmured, kissing the top of her head.

" me too" she murmured

He sighed and laced his fingers with hers, his ring brushing against her skin.

She smiled " you kept it on" she asked

”Yeah.” he chuckled. ”I could never find the nerve to take it off.”

She put her other hand on his cheek the cold metal of her ring touching his skin

”You kept yours.” he smiled softly.

" I couldn't get rid of it it's the only thing I had of you,," she said

His smile grew and he leaned his head down stopping a couple of inches from her lips. ”I love you.”

" And I love you" she whispered

He hesitantly placed a soft short kiss to her lips.

" gosh I've missed you so much" she mumbled

”I missed you too, my angel.” he murmured softly.

She smiled and nuzzled into his neck

He smiled at the gesture and held her closer. ”You know Henry and Tyler want us to be the kid's godparents.”
