(So, what do you think Lilith's and Adam's interactions would've been like in those days that we skipped? This'll help figure out where I should place Lilith when I post a reply.)

(Hmm, well probably some just regular "play time" for the past few days, as they just grow closer as friends. Adam wakes up now excited and expectant ready to see her. She's probably tried to help him out with his schoolwork some, I'm assuming at least. So things like that, just every day kid stuff I guess. Does that work for you? Or do you need more?)

@saor_illust school

(Yeah, no that's fine!)
Lilith slipped into the dark shadows that made up the world she resided in. Adam had just fallen asleep, and she now had nothing to do. She sat down, and curled up her legs, hugging them to her stomach. She missed her family. She missed her mom. And she didn't like Earth much anymore. She couldn't interact with anyone except for Adam, and different things kept reminding her of the Day. And it scared her. It terrified her. She didn't like being alone. But she had to. And as she sat there, thinking, the night passed quickly, and soon Lilith could see the faint rays of sun filtering in through the shadows, and she slipped back into Earth. "Good morning Adam!" she chirped brightly.

(Sorry! I swear I thought I replied to this!)
"Whatcha doing?" Lilith asked innocently, tilting her head at Adam. "What time did you get up?" she walked over to Adam, looking over his shoulder.

@saor_illust school

"Good enough," Lilith answered. Even though they had gotten closer the last couple of days, she still had plenty of secrets she was hiding. And some… some weren't even related to the whole "invisible friend" thing. "That's cool, though," she exclaimed, looking at the drawing.

LIlith didn't push it any harder, she didn't want to lose the only friendship she had. "Okay… tell me when you're ready, okay?" she said, sighing a little.

@saor_illust school

"To tell me about whatever it is you're hiding. I'm not going to pressure you so… yeah I guess tell me when you're ready…" Lilith looked around the small room.

@saor_illust school

"'Course I do, you're my friend!" Lilith chirped. "Besides that…" she was cut off by a small breeze from an unknown source filtered into the room, and she shuddered a bit, but shrugged it off. Her own fears weren't important right now, though fear flickered briefly in her eyes. It was an irrational fear, she knew that. But she couldn't help it. Not really. "Besides that," she started again. "Friends look after friends. It's what friends do."

"Then why won't you tell me what's bothering you when I ask?" Adam frowned, crossing his arms. "It doesn't seem fair, whatever it is, I can handle it Lili." He yearned to know why she seemed scared, he felt protective over her. Wishing to help her, but he was unable. She never would tell him.

@saor_illust school

"Sorry…" Lilith gave him a half-grin, although it didn't show happiness it it. But rather, a hint of sadness showed. "It's… complicated. Adam, have you ever had a family member die before?"

@saor_illust school

"Uh… okay this is going to be a little weird…" she laughed nervously. "Well, uh…" Curse you! she thought to herself. Just spit it out already! Get it over with! Lilith took a deep breath and prepared to start over. Then she realized that the problem wasn't that it was weird, but rather… she didn't want to talk about it. She didn't want to remember. She shook her head slightly, mostly to herself though. Get it together. Just get it over with. He deserves to know. "Ah, uh…" she started again, finally spitting it out in a quiet mumble, looking away. "I'm dead…"

@Rainy_day_artist_classic group

"You-you're… dead?" He asked a little bewildered at this. "But, you're imaginary. I thought…" He wasn't sure what to think, she just told him- what exactly? A ghost? A spirit? "What does that make you, technically?"

@saor_illust school

Lilith clenched one of her fists tighter, she still had that paper, the paper that still kept her going. She didn't like talking about this anymore. Why did she need to tell him again? "I- I don't know…" she whispered, a lump forming in her throat. She didn't like where this conversation was going. All she was doing was- No. She couldn't. She was real. Real as ever. But you need to accept this. You're dead. Get it over with. It's not a big deal, a small voice inside her whispered, and she tensed up, squeezing her eyes shut.

@saor_illust school

"No…" she started to say, but then shook her head. She wanted just to shake it off and pretend everything was normal. But she couldn't, there was an unknown force holding her back, and she couldn't understand it.

@Rainy_day_artist_classic group

“Are you sure? I don’t want to upset you.” He replied to her trail off response. She was his only good friend, he didn’t want to loose her. If he messed things up, he wouldn’t forgive himself. Probably ever.

@saor_illust school

"I'm fine," she whispered, though her voice was extremely quiet. "I'm fine," she repeated, her voice a little stronger now. I'm fine, I'm fine, she repeated to herself inside her head, hoping that if she told herself that enough times then eventually it would be true.
