@ElderGod-Icefire
Aron pressed his lips in a thin line. "I've done this before, ma'am. And I'm not about to trust a jailor." he replied, looking at her without a shred of trust in his eyes. "I made that mistake last time."
Aron pressed his lips in a thin line. "I've done this before, ma'am. And I'm not about to trust a jailor." he replied, looking at her without a shred of trust in his eyes. "I made that mistake last time."
"Of course you come from a story like that," Agent A mumbled. She let out a long breath through her nose, then started walking again, pulling Aron along.
"Then do what you wish. Just know that your actual agent won't tell his character to stop when they go in for the kill."
Aron clenched his jaw, stiff legged as he followed her. "Fine." He replied, cold and distant. He wouldn't trust someone again. Not in this sort of situation.
Agent A brought Aron back to his cell, opening the door and pushing him inside. Allani went in as well, keeping next to Aron while Agent A said in the doorway and pulled her notebook out again. She started to write, occasionally glancing up to make sure Aron was behaving.
Aron crossed his arms as best he could, watching them as they watched him. His lips were pressed into a thin line.
Eventually, Agent A stopped writing and closed the notebook. Almost immediately, the cell began to shift, pushing out so it wasn't so cramped and lighting up a bit, not near as good and damp as before.
"That's the best I can do," Agent A said.
Aron gave a stiff nod. "Thanks, I guess." he replied slowly, watching her. He still refused to trust her. He couldn't. He wouldn't.
Agent A nodded, then closed the door. She could be heard walking down the hall, and then… Silence.
(Alright, I'm gonna put a freeze on @Icefire and @ShadeStar until @UnseelieKing-TheBirdSong, @Altrince_is_in_the_Umaru-chan_cult, @EvHatesChristmas, and possibly @Ervie if they still wish to, continue.)
(sigh…)
(Note: there is a time limit. Four days, and whoever had not responded will not be able to continue for the sake of the story. It would normally be only two days but I know that many are offline this time of year)
(Gotcha)
There wasn't much in the room, just a desk and two chairs. The most notable thing would be the second drawer on the left hand side of the desk, which was over stuffed with papers. However, there were three other drawers, their contents unknown.
(Was this the message I was supposed to reply to…? If so, I apologize ;-;)
(It's fine, it's my fault for not specifying or putting something for Noel)
(that’s fine, np)
Syzen was immediately drawn towards the drawer with papers stuffed. This really reminded him of someone back home. Not the drawer, but the atmosphere of the room. He sat down on one of the stools, hoping someone would come in and ease his boredom.
From Syzen's perspective, it could be seen that all of the papers were character templates, many with notes on the side on where the character said something different or added information not previously mentioned. Little tally marks could be seen at the tops of the parts, ranging from one to five.
Agent U looked over the paper one last time before slipping it into a folder and standing.
"We're done here," she said, grabbing Noel's arm and pulling him to his feet as well. Soldier S noticed, stepping over to look into the room Syzen was in.
"You'd better get out of there quickly. Best not to give U a reason to dislike you."
Syzen, upon hearing those words, left the room as the Soldier said and went to stand beside him.
”Explain to me about the documents later, I’m damn interested” he whispered, moving aside to let Noel replace him.
”My turn?” he asked the agent without much hesitation.
"What do you think?" Agent U said, letting go of Noel's arm in favor of grabbing Syzen's. She pulled him into the room, closing the door.
"So, you're the one who got pulled by your Author before you got processed," she said, having Syzen sit down before walking to the other side.
"I've got a few questions for you about that."
Soldier S watched as the Agent pulled Syzen into the room and shut the door, then turned to Noel.
"You good?" He asked.
”Ask away” Syzen stated with quite a confident expression, a fake one that was. He was mentally shaking. This woman was most likely not as innocent as she looked. Then again, back in the Labyrinth, everyone looked inferior compared to him.
Noel sighed.
”Seemed like she doesn’t like me very much” the Viscount claimed, looking straight at the soldier.
"Have you been in contact with your Author, or anyone connected to them?" Agent U said, voice hard. "Keep in mind I have ways of checking my information."
Soldier S nodded. "Didn't expect much else. U doesn't like most anyone. Did you get a look at her file on you?"
Syzen hesitated in answering this particular question, still keeping a smiling face though.
”Well, yes. I won’t tell you who though… you should already know” he smirked a bit at the end.
”Unfortunately not, she didn’t give me a chance to to be exact” Noel claimed.
”By the way, where am I going after this?”
Agent U pursed her lips, looking up.
"Oh? Is that so." She wrote something down on her paper, seemingly almost… happy, that Syzen wasn't telling her the information. "Well then."
"Depends. More likely then not you and Syzen will have separate cells, so we'll probably be taking you to your's after those two finish up." Soldier S shrugged a bit. "But there's no real way of saying what will happen after that, especially with your Author knowing one of our Agents."
Syzen was a bit surprised by the Agent’s reaction. He was now questioning himself if that was a good move.
”Am I allowed to ask you somethings as well? Or is this just a one-way Q&A?”
Noel sighed.
”So my Author, my ‘God’ basically, is in a relationship with one person—one Agent—under your organization which is trying to capture me… what a great place to be…” the Viscount commented with almost a lifeless tone.
Agent U looked up from the sheet in front of her, never loosing her strange smile.
"Depends on the question."
"You'd be surprised, actually. Less of a chance you or your Author will die if you try to escape." Soldier S spoke casually, but he didn't like the thought of having to go kill someone again.
(Judging from the way you spelt ‘coffee’, you probably do require it XD)
”How long have you been working here? Do you like it here?” the Constellation warrior asked right after each other.
”Huh, good to know…” Noel nodded gently as he looked down.
”How long have you been working here?”
(…well, crap. Thanks for pointing that out XD)
Agent U considered the question for a moment, then figured there was no need to not answer.
"Five years," she said. "And I quite enjoy it. I get the difficult cases, so more often then not I get to kill someone." A shadow fell over her face. "Or I get stuck working with the bastards." It passed, and she was back to smirking.
"K here's been working here for about a year now. He was new when Syzen came here the first time." Soldier K looked pointedly at Soldier S.
"I could have said so myself."
"Would you have?"
"…No, but still!" Soldier S avoided answering the question about himself.
Syzen wasn’t surprised with the answer for some reason. Perhaps it was because he’s like that as well, living in such conditions only drives one mad through time.
”Well, I’m sure you have more questions to go over so let’s get this over with. I’m sure we both want our coffee breaks” he crossed his arms and leaned against the seat.
Noel watched the exchange between the two and sighed.
”Do you guys have a cafeteria or… restaurant around? I think I need coffee…” the man said, yawning with much tiredness.
"Let's. Name, age, gender, and pronouns." Agent U looked back at her paper, not bothering to address Syzen with respect. She didn't much care for him, but that just meant she'd get to screw with him more, so she was all for it.
"Ah, no. Though, I'm sure once you get to your cell I could get something for you." Soldier S shook his head slightly, apologetic. After a moment, he turned to K.
"I think I'll take Noel to his room. Think you can handle standing here and not blowing anything up?" Soldier K shrugged, smirking.
"I'll do my best. And don't expect me to wait for you if Syzen comes out before you're back." S nodded, turning to Noel.
"So, would you rather wait here for Syzen or go to your cell?"
(Reminder: There are two days left for @EvHatesChristmas, @UnseelieKing-TheBirdSong, and @Ervie to respond before we continue the roleplay without them. I will be PMing each to see if they wish to continue or drop out)
”Syzen Celser, physically 31, chronologically… six centuries something, I’m not sure. Male, asexual but pan-romantic, by the way. He/Him/His” he answered. He was definitely comfortable at this point.
”Seriously, is this a university interview? This kinda feels like it” the man asked sarcastically.
”I’ve been with him enough, please take me to my cell” Noel answered almost immediately.
”Also, if you’re gonna go get something…” he looked down and sighed ”…one strawberry smoothie with whipped cream please”
Agent U looked over her papers, hating to admit that he was matching them quite well. When he spoke again, however, she casually reached forward and slapped him hard across the face.
"Nationality and powers," she continued.
"I'll see what I can do," Soldier S said. "No promises, though." He gave Soldier K one last look before taking Noel's arm and leading him down the hallway. Noel's cell door was marked AUNY28.
