“I knew you’d like him” he said with a smile

She just rolled her eyes. "Was this the point of bringing him up here? Just so you could see me smile?"

“…maybe. Would you be mad if it was?”

She couldn't help but laugh. "No, I really wouldn't be."

“Then yes it’s because I wanted to see you smile.”

"Why? My smile is hideous." She covered her mouth with a giggle. "I'm just going to stay like this for the rest of the day." Her voice was muffled by her fingers.

“No! It’s so pretty!”

"Noooo, no it isn't!"

“It is!”

"Prove it!"

“Jeez what is it with you and these impossible requests!”

"If they're that impossible to fulfill, then I consider my point true!"

“Bullshit!” He screeched

(I feel like, if this was any other time, now would be the point where he pins her to the wall and just starts making out with her. Am I the only one thinking that?)
"I see no evidence to support the contrary!"

He rolled his eyes and quickly leaned in and kissed her for a few seconds. “Would you shut up now?”

"Hmm, I don't know. Might need a bit more convincing than that." She'd mostly been caught off guard but had quickly recovered.

He sighed. “Oh my goooood. Woman! You’re driving me crazy!”

"I drive everyone crazy! Why else do you think I'd rather bleed out than stick around?"

“See there you go again. You’re not driving me crazy in an annoying way. You’re just….so determined to prove that you’re a terrible person and I really want to prove you wrong I just….don’t know how…”

"Here's an idea, don't. I've had way too long to believe this, you're not going to convince me. At least, not quickly."

“Wel then I guess you’re stuck with me until I convince you”

"I mean, you're pretty cute so I don't think that'll be much of a challenge."

He chuckled quietly

"What? Just calling it how I see it."

“Most people don’t describe me as cute.” He made a face. “Except for old guys at bars, and that’s just plain creepy. Lucky for you, you’re not a creep so I don’t have to beat you up.”

"Please don't, I get that enough from my own family."

“I know you do. And that’s especially why I wouldn’t do that to you”

She smiled a little, managing to relax slightly. "That's sweet of you."

“I know right” he responded with a teasing grin

She rolled her eyes with a grin. "Totally."
