(lol yes we love that)
He took it with a dopey grin, blushing. Thank goodness it was dark and his complexion was dark enough that it was hard to tell.
People would probably assume the princess would have loved shopping; buying things she didn't need because she could. Oh, would they be wrong. Karina didn't hate it, but really didn't have much in mind that she would want. She was already doing this whole sneaking out thing.
(trying not to die in biology because of cuteness mah dude)
Thea saw the park and called out behind her to Ever "Come on a few more blocks hah!" her legs pumping as she ran and bolted across the ground but still a good enough pace for Ever to keep up
(just grinning stupidly in math lol)
“Race you!” he yelled out and sprinted past her with a grin. He was ahead of Thea now, because he was fast enough but it was probably more out of surprise than anything.
(I love how the gang is like ok we're going out on the town and Ever and Thea just are out living their best lives being adorable)
(thank god for tutorial a.k.a library cause i be grinnin' like a fool)
Thea laughed "OH IT'S ON" then sprinted past Ever smiling
“Ok. Let’s go shopping! I hope they have books! About Greek mythology and sci-fi and fantasy and everything.” The redhead giggled- trying to contain her laugh.
Ever tried to fake glare at her, but he was smiling too much. Ever ran even faster, pushing himself to get in front of Thea again. He had never been a runner, however, so he wasn’t sure how long the surge of speed would last.
Cosmina grinned. “Books are great of course, but I wouldn’t mind some new clothes! Come on gang, we’re going shopping!” she exclaimed as she stood up and tossed her trash.
Thea saw Ever catching up and ran as fast as she could then jumped onto a nearby bench in the park through pants and gasps for breath she laughs and taunts Ever "Beat ya" her smile lit her eyes
“Oh, darn,” Ever replied as he sat next to her on the bench, but he was smiling too. “You win.” He was also out of breath, so his words came out quiet and between gasps of air.
Thea had almost caught her breath then burst into laughter losing it again as she sat on the bench "That was fun"
Ever began laughing too. “Yeah it was,” he responded. He didn’t realize how close he was sitting to her.
Thea blushed as she thought about how close they were to each other tucking a stray piece of hair behind her ear. "So what do you wanna do now?" her voice shaking from loss of breath and excitement
“I don’t know,” Ever responded, the realization settling that he had sat right next to her on the bench. His face heated up slightly, though it was a bit difficult to tell with his complexion. “Just sitting here is kind of nice.”
Her smile grew as she sat down fully onto the bench from her crouch. As Thea settled down her hand brushed Ever's and she blushed even more but due to her lighter skin it would have been in plain sight
Cosmina grinned. “Books are great of course, but I wouldn’t mind some new clothes! Come on gang, we’re going shopping!” she exclaimed as she stood up and tossed her trash.
Karina followed, though not showing the same enthusiasm. They were only supposed to be gone for a short time. Someone would notice they were gone. Right? Inside, she hoped they wouldn't. In this situation at least. Perhaps if they were going to do a few other things after shopping, Karina could buy something to disguise herself better. The less attention from the public the better. No way did she want people pointing and whispering because they noticed a princess without any guards what-so-ever. Her parents would be furious if they noticed.
Ever smiled shyly at her, his hand still feeling where hers had brushed against it. He wanted to take hold of her hand, but he wasn’t quite that bold. Instead, he let his hand brush hers, trying not to make it too obvious.
Thea saw some swings a little ways off still near the light but not as close to make light. "Wanna see who could go the highest?" her voice wasn't as shaky now as it was when she had to catch her breath but a hint of a challenge
Ever grinned. “I bet I can go higher than you,” he teased, leaning in for a moment before springing up and heading towards the swings.
(lmao everyone died except you two)
(Shit sorry I didn't know what to do so I just kinda… didn't)
(same)
(same, so I guess I can do a quick set up here real quick)
Everyone arrived in the large shopping district. People were moving about making their purchases, streets were filled with chatter and laughter. Hopefully it was enough to hide three members of royalty and the rest of the escapees.
Karina gave a few glances around, worried about being seen. There was the plus of there being so many people, but if she was recognised, she was doomed. Finding a booth selling clothing, the girl walked over to it. Her hands made quick work of the selection, eventually finding something comfortable and casual. The material of the shirt was soft, with a hood, and the pants a dark blue without a single rip. About to turn to pay, the girl noticed a pair of brown lace up boots. They looked as if they might end around the mid-thigh area. They seemed to be of a slightly worn appearing design, without actually having been worn or scuffed. They looked about like something her mother might have worn when she was Karina's age. Grinning, she took the shoes, and bought the outfit without worry of the cost. This was a rare moment where the girl thought glamour might have come in handy. The owner of the stand luckily didn't seem interested in some random teen. Finding somewhere to change, Karina slipped into her somewhat disguise.
Aina walked through the large area, chatting with vendors and examining absolutely everything that caught her eye. She knew she wasn't going to buy anything this time, but she was severely tempted by an artist whose paintings were phenomenal. Aina felt at home here; the bustling crowd and the shouts of vendors were so much better than the quiet she was used to. All the vendors were so pleasant (though probably just so that they would sell more) and overall, the experience was worth any trouble Aina might get into.
Ever grinned. “I bet I can go higher than you,” he teased, leaning in for a moment before springing up and heading towards the swings.
Thea laughed as she got onto a swing "I highly doubt that I don't weigh to much" as she kicked off she kept count of seconds for some bizarre reason
Ever was a bit higher than her because he had started earlier, but he was sure that she was gaining on him. He went as fast as he could, trying to maintain his lead with a laugh.
Thea tipped back in the swing and gained on Ever with a triumphant laugh as she fell back down her eyes glowing even in the dark
Ever huffed indignantly, struggling to catch up. He kicked his legs wildly, eyes shining. “Wow, I need to work on my swinging skills now,” he joked.
