Joanna has been up for hours getting ready for the day. Well, she hadn’t slept much at all, so she had been up since 3 am trying to entertain herself until a reasonable time. Now it was 6 am and she was sitting on a chair reading a book. “He’s so erg!” She grumbled to herself about Arsen.
Arsen lay on his bed staring at the ceiling, arms crosed behind his head. His eyes traced a long crack along the ceiling, almost losing it several times. He did this so that he didn't think about her. She was infuriating, annoying and self-absorbed.
She stopped trying to concentrate on the book and set it aside. Standing she shuffled out of her room with shoes on and walked past his door. She glanced at it and thought for a moment to tell him where she was going. But he wouldn’t care, unless she didn’t tell him. So she walked over to a table, picked up a notepad, and wrote down she was going out and where.
With a groan, he sat up, wincing as pain lanced through him. He had been practicing his stretches earlier, which he hadn't done in a while, and his lazy body had strained and protested mightily. He moved into the kitchen part of the room, staring blankly at the wall in thought.
Joanna was walking around the streets quietly. She was thinking about their mission and what they had to do. “I swear if his lips touch mine…” She groaned under her breath.
(XD someday…)
Arsen shrugged. He needed to pick some stuff up, and this was the best time to do it. He needed to buy food for the fridge, for one thing, he thought ruefully, eying the thing. He tossed his jacket on and headed outside, not even stopping to consider checking up on Joanna.
(XDD)
Joanna stuffed her hands in her pockets, wishing she had brought some form of coat. "Dang it…" She sighed picking up her pace. "It isn't too far at least."
(Boop?)
Joanna came up to the store she was headed for. She shuffled through the door and rubbed her arms to warm herself.
(Oh, sorry 'bout that. I thought I responded lol)
Arsen moved onto the crowded streets. He walked through the cold, air puffing in front of him. He passed several shops, looking randomly around. He had a week to buy things. He wasn't in a rush. He passes a store, where, unbeknownst to him, Joanna had just entered.
(XD it's totally fine!)
She made her way to the back of it, looking for a nice dress for the party. She needed to get it, and get it altered to her height and fit. "Let's see what they've got." She muttered.
(Thanks…)
Arsen headed into the grocery store. He ignored everyone, and wentto pick out some food for his room. He got plenty of junk food, a tiny bit of healthy food, and a bunch of plastic utensils, and styrafoam plates and cups.
She picked a few out and rubbed her face. "Alright fine, this one." She decided hanging the others back up. "Plain and simple, I like it." She nodded draping the black dress over her arm. "Arsen probably won't though, but he doesn't like me anyways."
(What? What would give her that idea XD?)
Heading back to the hotel, he happened to glance into the window, and saw her. He froze for a moment, then scowled. What was she doing out here? He almost went into the store, then shook himself. He didn't care. This didn't matter. He hurried away, the scowl still plastered on his face.
(Oof XDD)(I also saw you changed the name ,':3)
She paid for the dress and headed outside, and quickly made her way down the street. Humming softly as she went. "Wait… which way was it again?" She muttered seeing someone up ahead. "Sir!" She called.
(Yeah. The old one sucked, and so I did this, because I'm a master of stupid spontanious roleplay names.)
Arsen heard her voice calling to him and tensed, quickly walking faster. He hoped that she wasn't calling to him. That would be awkward, to say the least…
(XD Lol)
"Uh… alright then…" She muttered as the man sped up. "Guess I'll find it by myself." She sighed looking up to see if she could find the building top.
As he entered the hotel, Arsen noticed a group of people, standing in the corner, not speaking, but watching the people who entered with blank eyes. Feeling unnerved, he walked quickly past them to the elevator.
She was still wandering, unsure where to go. "Was it… this way?" She asked herself shuffling across the street. "No- it's that way!" She replied confidently as she walked over to another crosswalk.
He went into his room, and put all the stuff away. He threw himself onto a couch and started to scroll through suits on his phone. Shopping would take too long, trying things on. He should get a haircut too, he thought, running a hand through it.
After finally managing to find the hotel, she walked through the lobby taking no notice of the men, and heading up the stairs to her floor. After jogging up, she came to her room and opened the door with her key. "Honey I'm back." She said sarcastically shutting it again.
Arsen didn't hear her. He had put his earphones in, and was watching some videos, after having ordered a fancy shmancy suit for the party.
She tossed her dress at the back of his head and headed to her room. "Tell me whatcha think."
When a bolt of fabric hit the top of his head, Arsen looked up in annoyance. He removed an earpiece long enough to hear what she said, and rolled his eyes. He lifted it up, eyeing it, before shrugging. "It'll work. What're you gonna do about makeup? And hair?"
"Why do you care?" She asked coming out in a low cut tank top. "It's not like it effects you." She said crossing her arms and leaning on the door frame.
"Well, it doesn't. I'm just wondering." He rolled his eyes and tossed it back to her, putting his earphone back in.
(What does the dress look like?)
(This)
She took it and folded it neatly before setting it on her bed. "Well I should decide now shouldn't I?" She mumbled to herself grabbing her makeup bag and sitting on the floor in front of the mirror.
(Cute!)
Arsen watched her, half interested, behind half-lidded eyes, before snorting. He could help her, he had experience, after all… nah. He didn't need her. He turned back to his phone.
She hummed a gentle tune and played with her makeup trying to decide. She came to a color she wasn’t sure about, and bit her lower lip. With a loud groan she turned to Arsen. “What color should I use? I can’t decide.”
"Whatever matches," he said, without looking up, then glanced at her. "Try smoky gray."
