“I think I’ll be out pretty late for this one.” Caleb said with a frown as he leaned over and kissed Kyle’s forehead. It was already about 8 pm now, which meant Caleb might not be back until three or even four in the morning.

Kyle pouted, fiddling with the ends of the sweater he was wearing. One he had pinched from Caleb earlier, “Do you have to go?” He asked quietly.

“Yeah I’m sorry. I’ve been away long enough as is. I’ll be back before you know it.” He pecked him gently on the lips. “I love you”

Kyle was still fiddling nervously. He didn't like spending time alone in case he had an attack or something bad happened but he tried not to be so paranoid, "I love you too."

He smiled at him softly, and ruffled his hair before he headed out the door. And for the first few hours, Kyle would be alone, but that wouldn’t last for too much longer.

Kyle stayer in the living room most of the time, watching tv and fiddling with anything he could find. Even though he didn’t want to admit it, he was paranoid.

A man walked down the street, avoiding the light for the most part. He had his job, he knew what he’d have to do. If everything went smoothly, there would be no record of what happened tonight. Everyone involved would die. The government would make sure this case never saw the light of day. But as serious as this operation was, he was still going to have a little fun with it. He was here. He stopped, staring up at the lit up apartment. Let the games begin he thought to himself as he walked inside the main building, making his way up to that apartment. He knocked on the door.

Kyle jumped at the knock on the door, frowning. It couldn't be Caleb and he wasn't expecting visitors, especially this late at night. He stood from the couch, slowly making his way towards the door cautiously.

“Sorry to bother you folks at such a late hour but I got a package here that needs a signature.” He called out through the door.

He looked through the peep hole on the door, not recognising the man but opening the door anyway.

‘Perfect’ he thought to himself and probably before Kyle could even blink, dashed into the apartment, putting Kyle in a quick chokehold. He wasn’t going to kill him, he just needed him unconscious right now.

Kyle gasped, clawing at the man’s hold. He didn’t even think to use his powers until he was out like a light.

As soon as Kyle was out, he loosened his chokehold, dragging Kyle over to a chair and tying his arms to the arm rests. The only thing he’d have taken from Kyle was his phone. Now he just had to wait for him to wake up, then the fun would begin.

(We gonna get a torture scene up in this bitch? Because if so like yesss)

It was about twenty minutes later when Kyle woke up, dazed and confused. He blinked, then he noticed the man and that he’d been tied down. He tugged at the restraints before looking up at him, “What do you want?”

((Ooooh that would be good but at the moment he’s just a hostage. We can do a bit of torture though if you want.))

The man was sitting backwards in a chair, his chin rested on the back of the chair. He’d obviously been watching him for the whole time. He ran a hand through his wild dark brown hair, a smile appearing on his face. It wasn’t at all a comforting smile. “That’s a very vague question, I want a lot of things. But why am I here? Well that one’s easy and is none of your business, not yet at least. This has nothing to do with you, but it is going to be so much more fun with you here.” At some point while he’d been talking, he’d pulled out a knife, twirling it around his fingers.

(Lol idm, I was just asking since it felt like that was what was gonna happen)

“If it has nothing to do with me then why am I tied down to a chair?” He eyed the knife carefully, swallowing his worry.

“Because you’re a useful sack of meat that I can use as bait.” He said and stood up grabbing Kyle’s phone off the counter where he’d set it. “Now be quiet I have to make a call.” He quickly found the number he was looking for and dialed, it barely rang before the person on the other line answered.
“Hey, you okay-“
“Guess where I am right now?” He hummed out in a sing-songy voice.
“You bastard!” It was clearly Caleb’s voice. The guy chuckled and moved closer to Kyle, putting the phone on speaker before setting it down.
“Now why don’t you say hello?” He said with a manic grin before pulling a few of Kyle’s fingers back hard. Almost hard enough to break them.

Kyle let out a strangled sound, something between a scream and a cry. He sucked in a breath between his teeth.

The guy chuckled, holding them back for a second longer before releasing them. He picked up the phone, talking to Caleb again. “Now then..you have 13 minutes before I slice open his throat. You better hurry.” And with that he hung up, looking back over at Kyle with a grin.

Kyle released a breath, trying not to shake too much, “What do you want with Caleb?”

“Tsk tsk didn’t I already say this was none of your business.” He sat down again, scooting his chair closer to Kyle. “But if you really want to know, I’m gonna kill him. And if I do..maybe they’ll even let me keep you as a prize.” He said, ruffling Kyle’s hair.

Kyle shied away from the man’s touch, trying not to flinch, “A.. A prize? What kind of person keeps a-a human as a prize for killing another?”

“Me that’s who.” He chuckled. “And I have to admit, you really are a pretty one.” He said, forcefully grabbing Kyle’s chin.
