Charles gave his daughter one last smile as she went upstairs before sitting in the living room.
Henry smiled at her cute laugh and lightly bumped his wrist against her side.
”Fiancée.” Lysander reminded Alec, a little smug himself at the moment. ”Betty is my fiancée. More than that is is my Eternal. She won't give up on me so easy.”
Betty laid in her bed and didn't close her eyes
Tyler looked at him with a smile
" I remember when we were dating and she'd run her finger up my chest and kiss my neck and I'd rub my fingers over her hips" he said
Charles gave a light chuckle. ”Close your eyes.” he said knowing that she could hear him.
Henry smiled back and carefully wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her gently to walk beside him.
Lysander’s expression shifted back to dark rage at the taunting, before he heard a familiar giggle echo through the room.
Betty chuckled closing her eyes.
Tyler giggled once more
" Betty will forget all about you" he said
Charles smiled a little again and tried to let himself relax for Betty’s sake, despite being worried about his youngest son.
”Is this ok?” Henry asked smiling.
”And when she does I’ll be right here for you, mon amour.” Marie smiled fondly as she appeared in the middle of the room.
Betty groaned pulling out her phone and calling her fiance
"This is perfect"Tyler said
Alec chuckled and" I'll be right there to comfort her"
Charles was tempted to reach out to decided against it when he heard Betty dialing Lysander’s phone.
Henry was so glad he couldn't blush. Aside from hunting, not much he did had been called perfect lately.
”When did you pick up English, Marie?” Lysander asked with less hostility than when he addressed Alec.
”It’s amazing what you learn from being inside someone’s head.” the ghost’s smile turned a little mischievous. ”This really is an interesting way to exist. For example…” she said making a gesture with her hand and Lysander’s phone flew to her.
Tyler kissed his cheek gently.
"Ly are you okay are you hurt I've been worried sick I thought you were with another girl and I mean I've only been crying I haven't slept I haven't eaten nothing are you okay did I do something wrong is that why you left please tell me what I did I can fix this" she said
Henry smiled at the kiss and pulled her a little closer, kissing her in return.
Marie gave Alec a questioning look, silently asking if he wanted to talk to Betty or if she should break the girl's heart first.
Lysander’s eyes widened at both the new display of power Marie seemed to have learned and at hearing Betty’s voice again. ”No! Betty! I need you. I need your help!” he called out hoping she could hear him.
Tyler giggled smiling into the kiss.
Betty couldn't hear him Maria done something where she couldn't hear him no one on the other line to hear him "Ly?"
Henry pulled away from the sweet kiss with a smile. ”Remind me to take you to Paris sometime.”
Marie took Alec’s silence as his answer and placed the phone on speaker so everyone could hear. ”Oh, I’m sorry. Lysander is a little busy at the moment and can’t answer the phone.” she said in a sweet voice.

" Marie? What are you- are you why he left?" Betty asked.
”Now, which way to this book of yours?” Henry smiled.
Marie let out a small gasp. ”Oh. You remember me. That's so kind of you.” she giggled. ”Qui. Lysander is with me right now. It’s the sweetest thing really. We ran into each other after one of his hunts and we started talking. The poor man. Apparently, he’s been incredibly stressed at his home lately so I’m keeping him company.”
" a little ways up here" tyler said.
" Stressed he's stressed I'm stressed for crying out loud I'm fucking pregnant" she said.
Henry nodded and continued to walk in the direction Tyler had pointed out.
Marie's eyes flashed in anger at the news. ”Yes, I think he mentioned something about that. Congratulations on that, by the way.” she said in the same sweet tone. ”But I… Oh mon dieu. Perhaps I shouldn't tell you this.”
Tyler nodded
"Tell me what?" She asked her voice trembling
Henry looked around for where the book might be. He half expected it to be in a museum or an old ”castle”.
”Well… The truth is we went out about a week ago… maybe two weeks and Lysander had more than a few drinks and…” Marie paused. ”He kissed me.”
”Betty! She’s lying! They used nightshade to drug me!” Lysander called out straining against the chains.

" What, No he wouldn't he couldn't …. Ly wouldn't do that and I swear Marie you don't lie to a strange I will hunt you down. And kill you slowly showing no mercy lieing manipulative bitch ass is lieing " she warned.
”Whoa.” Henry blinked in surprise at seeing the book right in front of them. ”Not what I was expecting.” he chuckled.
Marie stared aghast at the foul language Betty had used. ”I… Well, I… I have never been so insulted.” she stammered for a moment while Lysander smiled.
”That’s my angel.”
Finally regaining her composure, Marie spoke again. ”Any matter, I'm not lying. It's almost funny but despite everything, it felt just like it used to.”
"listen to me I'm a vampire who has out of the ordinary powers you're just a stuck-up dumb ghosty b** so don't think for a minute as soon as I get this child out of me that I won't hunt you down and beat your ass for taking my man" Betty said
Tyler shrugged
”Well, I’d like to see you try. I believe you still have three months before that happens. Let's see if you can last that long without him.” Marie challenged darkly. ”Oh and by the way, he was my man first.” she pointed out before hanging up.
”I’m surprised it’s this easy.” Henry commented not moving closer. ”Is there anything special we have to do? Stuff like this is usually booby-trapped or guarded somehow.”
She growled and went downstairs " dad we have to go save my fiance" she said
Tyler looked closely
Charles looked up at Betty’s voice. ”Do you know where he is?” he asked calmly. ”And more importantly when was the last time you fed?”
Henry wasn't an expert in magic but he didn't trust how simple this looked.
" awhile but I'm gonna tear her to shreds dad I'm gonna kill her she took him I don't care about anything else I'll find her" she said
Tyler picked up a pebble and threw it lasers popping up
"I can't wait to feel Betty's lips on mine one more" Alec said
”Betty. I understand how you feel but, for one thing, you can't just let your bloodlust dictate how you go about this.” Charles said gently but firmly. ”And for another, you’re pregnant. Rushing into a fight in your condition could hurt both of you.”
Henry nodded. ”That’s more like what I was expecting.”
" fine we'll wait for Henry and Tyler " Betty said dialing Lysander and walking outside
" I'm gonna do a spell you'll have exactly two minutes to get the book oh and the tiles look the ones that stick up " she said stepping on one then jumping back a dart flying out of the wall" vervain" vervain was very poisonous to vampires
”Yeah. That's more like it.” Henry sighed at the darts. ”Ok. Just tell me when your spell kicks in and I’ll run.” he glanced at the wall then the tiles on the floor.
Marie still had Lysander’s phone and immediately declined the call. ”What could you possibly see in someone like her?” she asked still a little angry.
”More than I ever saw in you.” Lysander smiled.
Tyler began chanting in Latin and she nodded signaling for him to go
Betty cursed and texted the phone let's make a deal
Alec chuckled " can't wait to be the father of her child
Wasting no time, Henry took off for the book. His feet barely touching the ground, as he remembered he could just fly over the trick tiles. He smirked a little as he grabbed the book and started to head back to Tyler.
Marie raised a brow at the text before she replied out of curiosity. What sort of deal?
Lysander growled, disgusted with how Alec seemed to view women. ”You won't get a chance to touch her. I’ll get out of here, somehow, and when I do; I’m going to cut off your hands and castrate you before I kill you.”
