’We’re heading inside, I’ll meet you in the mess hall.’
She sent to Jake, before looking to Tempest. “How you feeling?”

"Better…thank you Mallory I really am thankful you…calmed me down."

“No need to thank me. I should be thanking you.” She responded, with a light smile.

"You thanking me? Why would that be?" he asked with a little head tilt

“You saved me. Remember? When we first met.” She tried to explain.

"Oh yeah…well I'm glad I found ya when I did."

“Same here, though I was kinda rude I believe…” She replied, looking away from him.

"Well I dealt with worse than a little attitude." He smiles a bit but assures her "You weren't as bad as Giovanni when he figured out the same stuff you did and now he's one of my best friends."

“Oh well, maybe I should keep the attitude.” She laughed lightly, bumping shoulders with him.

"It's what makes you..well you so maybe you should." He chuckled, soon reaching the mess hall

“Hmm, maybe I’ll keep it around.” She smiled walking into the mess hall with him by her side.

He hummed a tune as they waited for the others to show up, completely unaware of the newcomer

(Newcomer?)

Mallory stretched, and yawned before sitting down at a table. "Anything you wanna chat about before they get here?"

(he's talking about Angle Aura)
Jake then continued to walk down and headed for the mess hall.

“I’m gonna go ahead…” Rainbow muttered quietly, picking up her pace to get away from Angel and Jake. She was at war with herself and didn’t want to make Jake feel even worse about himself. She knew, despite the fact he was human, he had his own mind and story.

"Hmm I guess…any other abilities you have we should know about?" Tempest asked Mal as he truly wanted to get to know his friend

Mallory paused, thinking for a minute. "Oh, I can control minds, don't know if I've said that already." She shrugged a bit.

"Oh you can read and control them? That's really cool…I'm just a electricity controlling mechanic/scientist." he shrugged and told her "Your powers are way cooler I think."

“Nah, yours are pretty wicked.” She chuckled lightly. “What are Ember’s?”

"She has Flame Manipulation, resistance to high Temperatures…things like that…oh and some crazy sharp claws too."

“Is she an hybrid like you?” Mallory hummed.

He nodded "Yep she sure is. Jeeze it's been a couple of days since I've shifted" Tempest said in a neutral manner

“What’s it like? Shifting I mean.” She asked leaning on her palms.

"It's…diffrent. You feel that your body has changed…people can read how you're feeling easier…kinda happier to be honest. I only speak for myself though cause I don't know about Ember"

Mallory nodded, trying not to laugh at his statement. Though with as much of a serious face as she could she looked at him. “I mean I can always read people.”

"well yeah but…for other people…and it's really so much easier to feel relaxed, I um…I mean all canine like things can feel bliss with just a little attention…I guess some characteristics stick around in my human form too."

Mallory nodded, with a smile. “I’m teasing, but I like that about you.”

Temest lounged out on a chair and closed his eyes, his form changing to that of a bipedal canine. His baggy clothes fit snuggly now, his fur a shade of royal blue, and white. The hybrid let out a relaxed sighand opened his eyes, the blind eye he had in his human form repaired and in working order.
