Lysander sighed heavily and looked down, feeling his heart fall. ”I-if that’s what you really want.” he said brokenly. He didn't want her to go but… He hurt her. He couldn't expect her to stay after how he messed up. ”I really am very sorry for what I said. I didn't mean to hurt you.”
" I'm not coming back" she said trying to walk past him again
”May I say something more before you leave?” he asked not moving and still looking at the floor.
" what is it?" She asked
”The only reason I said what I did was because I thought you understood what I meant about saving Tyler. If we were there when she died, we could turn her and she would be fine.” he explained gently. ”I love you and I never meant to hurt you.”
" don't you get I ruined Tyler's life I'm the only one who can fix it she will be happy and healthy even I it costs my life "she said
”By protecting yourself and one of your brothers from her parents.” Lysander pointed out. ”I can understand how you feel but you don't have to do anything alone.”

Lysander flinched a little at the reminder of what she had gone through… and at her pointing out what she knew she would be missing. ”I won't stop you from helping her but you know you never have to go through any of that again. You already stood up to… the wolf who raised you. I’ll admit; both Henry and I have also been tortured before so we understand. But if you don't want it, you don't have to be alone in anything again.”
" yes I do you don't understand this curse I have afraid of people dieing in me Henry Tyler" she looked at Lysander. " You " she cupped his cheek " losing you would be unbearable I couldn't do it I'm too far in love with you"
”And this will be the third or fourth time that I have lost you. What do you think that does to me?” he asked, finally looking back at her and placing his hand on top of hers. ”I don’t think I could take it again. I love you too much. More than anything in the world.”
She sighed " I know I know I'm sorry" she said
”I won't stop you from helping her but… will you stay? If you really need some time then I’ll understand. It's just if anything does happen to you, I want to spend as much time with you as you’ll let me.” he said blinking back a few tears.
She pulled him to her and wrapped her arms around him
He practically melted into the touch and returned the embrace.
"everything's going to be okay, promise"
”I want to believe that but how can it be alright if you die again?” he asked gently tightening the hug.
" i don't know … There's a spell book in Europe Tyler said if she can get it she can save my life" she said
”Then I hope she and Henry get it and that it works.” he replied.
She nodded
“How far along are you?” He asked softly.
" just a few weeks" she said and she smiled placing a hand over her stomach " I always wanted a kid"
”Me too.” he admitted with a small smile as he placed his hand on top of hers.
" but … This isn't my kid" she said
”I know.” he nodded. ”We could always adopt if you wanted. I know it's not the same but it's still an option.”
She shook her head with a.smile " ever since I was little I always wanted a family and now we have that I have one " she cried
He nodded in understanding and held her close, letting her cry. ”I know, love. I know. Maybe there's still a chance. You’re an Oracle, you still have your own blood in you. There could be a chance.” he said thoughtfully.
"but not with you" she said
”No, I can.” he said. ”Remember? Charles is your father and he has been a vampire for… probably before I was born.” he shrugged, not knowing how old Charles actually was.
