Marco had to nod at that one, his stomach rumbling as the smell o good food wafted through the kitchen.
Marco had to nod at that one, his stomach rumbling as the smell o good food wafted through the kitchen.
“Okay, it’s almost done,” he winked before putting the finishing touches. “Okay!” He took two plates and separated the food. He put the plates on the table and sat down.
Marco scooted away from the table when he came near, watching nervously for a moment, before finally shifting back, staying a few feet away.
“It’s okay, it’s not poisonous. It’s just food. Eat up,” he pushed the plate towards him.
Marco nodded, finally coming forward and taking a seat. He only waited a moment before pulling the plate towards him and digging in, not bothering to hide how hungry he was and eat slowly.
Levi laughed and started to eat. “You’re cute you know that?” He admired his soul mate. Looking at him up and down.
Marco shied a little under his gaze, but didn't stop eating.
“You can stay here if you want…we’ll have separate rooms, so what do you say. I wouldn’t want to leave you in the streets.” He smiled.
Marco blinked at him, knowing the offer would've come anyway, but the reality of it catching him by surprise.
“You don’t have to answer now, I won’t put you on the spot, just think about it,” Levi got up and started to wash his dish.
Marco nodded quietly, quickly finished his food, putting the fork down on the plate before slowly getting up to put it in the sink.
“I got it, you can head upstairs if you want.” He smiled before taking the plate and starting to wash it.
Marco looked away a littl, before nodding shifting and padding back upstairs.
Once Levi had finish the dishes he headed back up stairs. “Did you think about it?”
Marco was sitting on his bed, in cat form, and he nodded slowly in response to the other's question.
“Are you going to stay or leave?” He asked, afraid to hear the answer.
Marco hummed softly, before stepping forward and pressing his head into his hand hesitantly, silently telling him that he'd stay.
Levi blushed slightly. “I-I’ll go set up your room.” He ended up sitting there and petting his head. “Ah! Sorry I’m doing it again aren’t I?” He asked pulling his hand away.
Marco padded closer to him, wanting cuddles more than anything else. It had been awhile since he'd been able to get a filling meal, and now he was feeling more tired than usual, and he wanted some kind of warmth against him.
“How about you sleep in my room tonight?” He asked. Levi took the cat in his arms and laid him on the bed. He got under the cover and patted the spot next to him. “Come on.”
Marco mewled a little, moving to settle next to his chest, a bit nervous, but okay as long as he didn't do anything crazy.
In a matter of moments he was asleep and had his hand over Marco protectively. He whispered things in his sleep related to Marco.
Marco didn'tbother listening to him, allowing the warmth to lull him to sleep.
The next morning he woke up and saw Marco as a cat sleeping so quietly and peacefully. “Marco…” he whispered, poking his small frame. “Marco~”
Marco mewled and curled in on himself, shifting back involuntarily and cuddling into him, not awake enough to realize what he was doing.
Levi blushed and looked up. He wasn’t complaining, but he knew Marco would freak out. “M-Marco, you um, you shifted back and your really close to me.”
Marco was too sleepy to care, just enjoying the warmth for oncein his life.
Levi hesitantly put his hand around Marco’s waist. He bit his lip, feeling all happy inside. “Marco you have to get up.”
Marco shook his head, "So warm…" he mumbled, pressing closer to him.
“B-But your knee is a little um…” Levi moves his legs slightly.
