Alex let out a sleepy sigh, and stayed pressed close to Gabe. He wanted to stay like this. Even though he knew Gabe was probably only just humoring him…he hadn't been held in so, so long.

Gabe wasn't sure what he was doing. His mind was yelling at him for leading Alex on like this, because this led to sin, but somewhere deep, deep inside of his heart, this felt right. Holding Alex felt right. Eventually, he rested his head on top of Alex's, sleepy.
"Good night," he said sweetly.

Alex cuddled close to him. "Good night." He mumbled, already falling asleep in Gabe's arms. His brown hair was all over the place in messy strands.

Gabe smiled softly, laying them both down gently. He and Alex's chests were now pressed together, and he wrapped both of his arms around Alex's waist and shoulders to keep him close. As he fell asleep, how final conscious thought was of how nice it felt to be holding another man to himself like this…

Alex stayed snuggled close to Gabe, falling asleep.

Gabe awoke in the morning, still not entirely awake as he snuggled closer, resting his head on Alex's shoulder.

Alex was holding onto Gabe still, eyes closed. He was still asleep, and having the best sleep he had had in years.

Gabe slowly began to wake up more, realizing what was going on. Still, he didn't pull away- Alex just looked as peaceful, and knowing where he had been he knew this was something and would really need. So, he stayed still, gently rubbing Alex's back.

Alex let out a soft sound in his sleep, blinking open his eyes just a little, then closing them again.

Gabe heard the sound, turning his head to look at him with soft, warm eyes. He smiled, closing his eyes again and resting his nose lightly against Alex's cheek.

Alex shifted closer, still mostly asleep in Gabe's arms. His small body was painfully, achingly thin.

Gabe sighed a little as he rubbed Alex's back, feeling the bones of his ribs. He was gonna have to make sure Alex got enough to eat.
"Good morning," he said quietly, not wanting to wake Alex up if he wasn't ready.

(I gtg to bed now. Good night!)

Alex let out a soft groan. "No." He mumbled. "Not morning yet." And for a moment, he sounded just like any normal person.

Gabe smiled softly when Alex responded, nuzzling him with his nose.
"We don't have to get up," he said gently.

(just kidding! I'm still on for a bit)

Alex stayed snuggled close to Gabe, eyes still closed. He let out a happy little hum.

Gabe smiled, refusing to actually think about the situation. He knew if he did he would pull away, but he didn't want to, not yet…
"You're warm," he said, very, very quietly.

Alex let out a sleepy sigh.

Gabe stayed like that, holding Alex, for as long as he could. Eventually, though, he pulled away slowly, not wanting to but knowing he had to get up.

Alex grumbled softly. "Don't wanna get up." He complained when Gabe moved away.

"Neither do I," Gabe said, running his fingers gently through Alex's hair as he sat up.

Alex leaned into Gabe's fingers sleepily, eyelids flickering open just a little bit. He let out another sleepy grumble.

"Go ahead and keep sleeping," Gabe said softly, rubbing Alex's head again.
"You deserve it."

Alex closed his eyes again, unintentionally snuggling closer to Gabe as he started to fall asleep again.

Gabe smiled softly, unable to make himself get up off the edge of the bed. He leaned down, lightly touching his nose to Alex's cheek before pulling away again.

Alex felt the touch, but was already dropping back off to sleep. His brown hair fanned out on the pillow behind him.

Finally, Gabe stood up. He pulled the blanket up around Alex more, tucking him in.
"I'll be back soon," he said gently, hand brushing through Alex's hair one more time before finally, finally stepping away. He'd just find something to eat, and then he'd be right back.

Alex was nearly fast asleep. He shifted a little at the final touch and the tucking in, but didn't wake up. Curled up on the bed, he looked far younger and even more vulnerable.

Gabe sighed, pulling a jacket on and making his way out. Unlike most days, he kept the socializing to a minimum, hurrying it and getting more food. He didn't like leaving Alex alone this long, in case something happened. He hurried back with the food in his arms.

Alex had slept the entire time Gabe was gone, cuddled up in the blankets happily.

Gabe came back, setting the food down and going into the bedroom to check on Alex. He sighed in relief when he saw Alex looking so happy, kneeling down next to the bed with a smile.
"Hey," he said gently, "You should eat something."
