Jackson tried pulling away, but the man's grip only tighten. His eyes now glared at him, and he growled. "Let me go, you bastard. If you think I'll let you do whatever you want to me, then you're wrong."
Jackson tried pulling away, but the man's grip only tighten. His eyes now glared at him, and he growled. "Let me go, you bastard. If you think I'll let you do whatever you want to me, then you're wrong."
The man growled right back, back handing Jackson across the face.
"Now listen here, you little runt. I'm a free man, and your a slave. That means I can do whatever the fuck I want, end of story."
Jackson narrowed his eyes at the man and smiled coldly. "Is that so? Well, if that's the case why didn't you say that in the first place? Of course you expect me to let you do whatever you want to me, since you're used to getting your way. Well, let me tell you, Sir, YOU. DO. NOT. GET. TO. DO. WHATEVER. YOU. WANT."
The man wasn't fazed, hand going around Jackson's throat and forcing him to the ground. Phillips heard Jackson's raised voice, eyebrows crinkling. He roped someone into taking over while he started towards the lower deck, concerned.
As Jackson was forced to the ground, his eyes turned red and he growled at the man. “You’re messing with the wrong person, if I wanted you dead, you would be dead right now.” He closed his eyes and concentrated on a heavy item that was near them. The item lifted itself from the ground and fell on the man.
It only made him start bleeding on the part where the item had landed, which so happen to be on the man’s arm. He opened his eyes and with a gesture of his hand, the man’s clothes caught on fire. It would be surprising if the man didn’t yelp in pain or let his grip loosen on Jackson’s throat.
The man yelped, pulling his hand completely away. He kicked Jackson, putting enough force into it to send him rolling a few feet.
"Hey!" Phillips shouted. "Don't touch him!"
Jackson smiled as he rolled away, but his smile turned into a frown as his head hit an object. He sat up straight, rubbed his head while wincing in pain. “He has a bigger problem at the moment, Master. If you didn’t notice yet, his clothes is on fire.”
Phillips sighed.
"I can see that." He motioned with his hand, unable to put the fire out. Instead, he pulled it to himself, holding it in his hand. The man was breathing heavily, glaring at Jackson.
"You need to get your pet under fucking control!" He screeched. Phillips stepped between Jackson and the man.
"You need to get yourself under control. Don't touch my fucking pet."
“Moi? I have done absolutely nothing to you, Sir. Quite stupid of you to assume I was the one who put your clothes on fire and dropped that item on you.” He then gestured to himself. “As you can see, I’m a normal human with no magic abilities, and if you didn’t know that, well, now you do.”
The man scowled, but backed off eventually. He grabbed his pet by the arm, practically dragging her away. Phillips sighed, kneeling down next to Jackson.
"You good?" He asked, concern evident.
Jackson sighed and looked up at Phillips with a frown on his face. “No, I am not. The fact that I could’ve been raped at any moment doesn’t make it any better.”
A dark shadow fell over Phillips face.
"So that's what the bastard wanted," he said quietly to himself. He stood up again, holding his hand out to Jackson to help him up.
He gladly took his hand and once up, dusted his clothes. “Thank you, Phillips. Now, I better get my task done.” He started walking away but stopped and growled. “Only good for sex and anger management, ha! I’ll show him.” Jackson said under his breath quietly.
"Okay then, just… try and stay to where I can see you, okay?" Phillips sighed, shaking his head.
"There's a lot of assholes like him on this ship."
Jackson smiled and nodded. “Aye aye Captain!” Jackson chuckled and started with his work.
Phillips smiled slightly, heading back over to the wheel. He hummed a little as he watched Jackson work, making sure no one else messed with him.
Half a hour later, Jackson had finished cleaning half of the deck. He sighed as he continued mopping and scrubbing. He heard a woman scream and he immediately stopped.
It was one of the other pets; the girl with the man who had come after Jackson, to be exact. The man had hit her into one of the main beams, her head slamming against it with a loud crack.
"Useless!" The man shouted.
Jackson sighed as he made his decision. He was going to help the woman, even if he had to kill the man. “Hey, stop abusing her!”
The man looked up when Jackson called out to him.
"You," he sneered. "Just because you have some fancy magic like your master doesn't mean you can tell me what I can and cannot do with my property!" He reached down, pulling the girl up by her hair.
(Sorry for the late response, I was busy during these past three days.)
"Just because she's "your pet" doesn't mean you have to treat her bad! Normal pet owners are kind to their pets, but I'm sure you don't know what kind is or means." Jackson said nonchalantly.
(You're fine, I understand! There's no rush)
The man sneered.
"This is what you do to pets who don't behave! Of course, your master too soft on you for you to understand. You put him through all that trouble, and he didn't even punish you! It's pathetic." The man spit. The woman was crying now, not trying to hide it anymore. The back of her head was bleeding, too.
"Says the pathetic man." He paused and then continued. Let her alone, or this time, I will kill you." Jackson snarled.
"Make. Me. Pet," The man snarled right back. He turned, pulling the girl away.
Jackson titled his head to the side, making his eyes turn white, lifted his arm up, brought an object in front of the man, making the man stop. He looked straight into the man eyes, making it look like he was having a staring competion, but in reality, he was moving around organs, ruining his respiratory system, putting horrible diseases inside him (which were not contagious) and making the man's blood cell twice as small and all of this by looking into the man's eyes.
The man choked on the air, falling to his knees. The woman, when the man let go, scurried over to hide behind Jackson. Eventually, the man fell down completely, dead.
"Jackson," Phillips called out. "Everything alright?"
"Yep, everything is just peachy." He said with quite a happy tone. He went to the man, picked him up and threw him into the water. Sharp teeth appeared and the man was dragged underwater. Once he knew the creature was away from the ship, he turned around to the woman and frowned slightly. "Ma'am, are you okay?"
The woman was quivering slightly, head still bleeding.
"I- you- you shouldn't have done that," she said quietly. "They'll… they'll kill you for this."
Jackson sighed and rubbed his temples. "I know, but I couldn't just stand there and let him abuse you. They can't kill me without evidence, and that's one thing they don't have." Jackson took bandages from his pocket, walked up to the woman and wrapped them around her head, well just the spot where she was bleeding.
The woman nodded mutely, letting him bandage her.
"I… I could say he fell off, and that you came to help but we're too late, so you took care of me instead." She sighed quietly.
"Thank you."
