Mallory seemed somewhat lost- her mind was wandering, and she caught herself loosing her trail as well. "S-sorry I took another wrong turn…"

Tempest stopped her and slipped his pendant around her neck, now with both founder pendants around her neck her mind was a little more clear "It's okay we need to find Jake. JUst think back to how you got there before." He soflty said

She nodded and closed her eyes taking in a deep breath. "OK, this way." She hummed softly leading the way with more confidence.

Tempest took a deep breath as the warmth he was used to left his body and he looked over at his sister who nodded with a look that said it was going to be okay as they followed

She came up to the building from before and pointed. "That's it." She said softly before taking off both the pendants.

Once handed back both the founders hugged Mal thanking her before they slipped back on their pendants and opening the door slowly with caution

Mallory backed off some and watched from the outside. Silently.

The tall woman was explaining how her ‘Bio-scanner’ worked, doing so quite smugly.

Tempest and Ember still were out of her view while Tempest took notes on his little notepad about what the tall woman was saying, but his text message notification went off on his cell phone.

“It only scans organic life, so Gems can not be found through it. However, humans, and other creatures that have class 3 intelligence will show up as red dots.” She said, then hearing the notification. She spun around in her chair to look at them, slightly irritated.

"Oh um…heya there sorry to just drop by but Jake here is our friend and we needed to make sure he wasn't in any danger." Tempest explained as he out his notepad and pen back into his back pocket.

"Who are you?" Ember asked, her hand itching to grab at the quiver of arrows if this woman made a threatening move

“Well hello! I was just helping this ‘Jake’ person in finding his daughter in exchange for my dear friend, Tiger’s Eye. Do you happen to know her? I’ve been worried sick!” She explained, “Oh, me? I’m Actinolite, it’s just wonderful to meet more natives!” She smiled, holding their hands daintily.

Tempest wasn't stupid and knew that this was most likely one of the people Rainbow and Tiger were hiding from so he played dumb "Tiger's Eye? Isn't that a gemstone?"

She crossed her legs, “Why yes, it is. I’m a Gem too,” She turned around and showed the trapezoid cut stone that sat on the back of her head, then turned back. “We all are.” Actinolite squinted at the two suspiciously, but shrugged it off.

"Well no sorry we have just about every other species but we don't have any gem people." Ember responded, catching on, their pendants giving off a gentle glow as the two shared their thoughts.

Actinolite tipped her brow, her face bland. “Well, Jake said he knew her, and you know Jake. I guess he must be keeping secrets.” She sighed, then stood up and walked over to them, looking down at the two.

Dammit Jake common sense is nice Tempest thought

Well his daughter is in danger I don't blame him Ember sent back

"Well there are a ton of people back where we live and Jake might have thought he does but trust me I wish we could help you. We just don't have any 'Gems' in our databases." Tempest explained in a natural convincing manner

"We'll definitely let you know if we do see this gem Actinolite" Ember had no trouble lying, for it was to protect her new friends

She loomed over them, staring daggers. “And how exactly would he have thought he knows someone. Whom I haven’t spoken to him about, who’s name is nothing like any human. He agreed to bring her to me.” She said in an overly sweet voice.

Jake then saw the red dots on the screen and hopped down, looking at Tempest and Ember. " My Daughter is somewhere near here." He said loudly. then getting a sense of something from Mal what? I can't Risk hurtig anyone else in Haven…Tiger and Rainbow have a bad past so what?…… What have i done for them?….nothing….ever since i crashed here…i've been causing nothing but pain and misery Jakes eyes suddenly turned a light green.

"Because we have a ton of non-humans where we are." Tempest smiled and shrugged, fighting through his nerves

"Just give a description and we'll go through our databases again back home to see if we overlooked anything." Ember was not smiling but retained an even tone

Mallory couldn't believe what she was hearing from Jake. She felt tears sting her eyes and got up from her spot and went off into the woods.

Jake out of pure depression and hate for himself, his eyes then stayed that Lime green. His Skin started to turn Black. Then in an echoing voice, he said " my my my, Jake finally let me free..HAHAHAHA, Oh and where are my manners? Names Kat, and yes Jake is under my control now, and don't worry miss you'll get your Tiger's Eye." Jake was passed out cold in the back of the head.

"Jake pal could you tell the nice lady you made a mistake, and we in fact do not have any gems in Haven?" Tempest asked

Actinolite pulled a floating screen from the gem on her head, showing a picture of Tiger. “Here. I would give you one of my delightful tests for her, they’re very sweet, just look at Angel here.” She smiled.

"Jake? Jake?!…oh shit this isn't good." Tempest's hand crept to his side and rested on something not visible to the unaided eye

Ember had her bow and an arrow already notched "Alright we may know know them you got us there but we also know that you're trying to hurt them so…get lost Haven is to protect people, not make trade deals." Ember growled

Jake or Kat then snapped their fingers and disappeared from the situation landed in that forbidden room in Haven. "lets see what Dear Old Tempest was hiding from everyone"

“Why would I ever hurt them?” Actinolite asked, putting a hand to her mouth in shock, looking sad about how this even crossed Ember’s mind.
