(Okay, that's fine! Honestly, I myself am still trying to figure out something where I can reply consistently to my rps, and other chatting threads that I wish to be decently active on.)

"I could teach you one of my faves if you want?" suggested Kiger, finding himself to be perfectly content in this random parallel universe of a sudden.
(Btw, I'm trying to figure out a system where I'm replying to my rps a least once every other day, but I have a ton of them, and I'm super busy, so I'm so sorry if I'm still late sometimes!)
"Sure! What's it called?" Amber inquired, happy she made it through the impromptu teaching session. Which reminded her… why was she so bad at teaching things again?
(HI! I'm doing an rp purge, and I'm finally back on track! xDD I missed notebook, I haven't been on in forever. My poor computer kept almost crashing because of how many rp tabs I had open so I wouldn't lose any of them xD)
"It's called Pools!" he said enthusiastically. It's from my favorite band, Glass Animals."
(Ah, that's fine! Glad you're back tho!)
"Okay," Amber said slowly. "How does it go?" she hoped it wasn't too hard to learn.
(Me too!!)
"Okay, so it starts out like this," Kiger began, and started singing the upbeat tune. "Wefloat before the sea at dusk, in heavy mist, in glitter dust…"
He smiled encouragingly at her. "It's really easy, you'll see."
(Ooo that's a very pretty song, I can tell already!)
"Okay…" Amber tried the words out, feeling a tiny bit awkward, but since she felt comfortable around Kiger, she attempted to push her awkwardness away, knowing that it would be easier for her to just be.
(It is, I love it xD Glass Animals is my favorite band ^^)
Kiger kept teaching her, laughing when he sang off key, which, given he wasn't the most amazing singer, was often.
"That's it," he eventually finished, offering her a smile. "Did you like it?"
(Nice aha)
"Yeah, it's pretty!" Amber laughed softly, a smile breaking out on her face.
(Boop)
(omg, it's been my turn?? I'm so sorry, I thought I had replied so long ago!!)
"I'm so glad you like it!" Kiger grinned at her. "It's one of my favorites, it's kinda soothing."
He stopped walking for a moment and looked around, then stifled a laugh.
"So, I don't know about you, but I completely forgot where we were. I wasn't looking for a flower at all."
(oh that's fine aha)
(i understand)
"Um… yeah, I think we're lost…" Amber chuckled nervously. "It'll be okay though, right? Two minds is better than one?"
(Tysm <3)
"Yeah, for sure!" Kiger replied, keeping his tone chipper. "We'll get out of this mess in no time at all I bet!"
(lol they probably share one single brain cell xD)
(lol yup)
(and yw! <3)
"Maybe…" Amber tried to keep her hopes up. It wasn't long before she spotted something that really did lift her spirit. Kiger and her had been walking so long in the depths of the forest, that she had nearly forgotten what modern civilization looked like! There, in the distance, faint, and though she could barely see it, Amber still pointed it out. "Look! There's actual civilization somewhere in this endless forest!"
"What? Where?" Kiger whipped around and his jaw dropped as he saw it too. "Holy cow, what the heck? We have to go see what's going on, right? I mean, if you think that's a good idea. I have no clue."
"Yeah, we have to go see it! But… we should be careful. For all we know it could be a city of-" Amber stopped, and lowered her voice, trying her best to give an effect of spookiness. "Barbarians!"
(Sorry, I've been really depressed lately)
Kiger let his hands fly up to cover his mouth with a dramatic gasp, eyes sparkling.
"No! You think? We'll have to be really careful!" He cast a glance at the civilization ahead, edging behind the protection of a nearby tree.
(That's totally fine Sunny)
"Yeah!" Amber replied with enthusiasm, knowing that both were only having fun. Although… barbarians were a possibility, she doubted that her "guess" was real.
(oh- and shall we go ahead and figure out who inhabits the civilization, if any at all?)
(i was thinking that maybe it could be deserted, perhaps save for a few people who have gone wild or something?)
(Thank-you <3 <3 <3)
(Hmm, yeah, you're right xDD I like that idea! We could totally got the 'feral scavengers' route xD Maybe they can give some sort of cryptic riddle or something that ends up leading Kiger and Amber on a epic quest of epic proportions? xD)
"We'd better go find out," Kiger said, shooting her a glance that was half nervous, half excited. He stared at the buildings for another moment.
"Uh…After you."
(No problem! And YES I love where you're thinking!!!)
"Alrighty then! On a quest to hopefully not find barbarians we go!" Amber laughed, prancing towards the buildings.
(Probably going to be spotty for the rest of the month, I'm really, rEALLY busy rn, but I'll try to get a reply up for this tonight! Thanks for understanding :) And yesss, perfect then!! :D)
(That's okay! And cool cool! :D)
(No rush to reply, I can see you're gone! ^^ Enjoy your break :D)
"Woohoo!" Kiger said, skipping after her with a laugh. "I hope you can run fast, just in case they're cannibals!" He'd meant it as a joke, but ended up worrying himself and he rapidly caught up with Amber. "You don't think they are, do you?" he whispered.
(Thanks again!)
"I dunno, I mean, there's a chance they might be, but I don't think so…" Amber replied, with a hint of uncertainty in her tone.
(ofc! <3 And again sorry for being so late on this stuff, I can't wait for school to get out so I can chill again xDD)
"There's only one way to find out," Kiger said bravely, and stepped forward, projecting waaay more bravery than he was actually feeling.
(ahhhhh so sorry fren ive been stuck with a writing block)
(ill try to think of somethinggg)
(hey, it's all good!! I totally understand <3 If you need someone to talk to, shoot me a PM anytime :)
(thanks-)

"There's only one way to find out," Kiger said bravely, and stepped forward, projecting waaay more bravery than he was actually feeling.
"Yeah!" Amber ventured towards one of the buildings, peeking in. "Looks abandoned! Nothing in it, as far as I can tell!"
She squealed a bit as she scrambled to get out of the way when she saw a small mouse scurry out, but quickly relaxed. "Oh- it's okay! Just a mouse- I must be more on edge than I thought aha"
Kiger, who had jumped more than he would ever admit, laughed.
"We've got this," he said with a grin he hoped was braver looking than he actually felt. "If that house was abandoned, probably the rest will be too!"
He took the lead, determined to be brave for once, and tiptoed over to the door, creaking it open. He coughed as a plume of dust poofed out into his face.
"Ack! Gross! I'm dying!"
