"Can't you wait a bit?" Luka asked tiredly. "Why you in such a rush? Isn't it Sunday?" Luka always acted a little drunk when he was sleep deprived, but he never drank.
"No Papa, it's Monday. And I told Bec that I would pick her up on the way to school. And you need to go to work."
She pulled him up, and he reluctantly allowed her to push him towards the bathroom. "Have a shower and wake up."
With that, Jesse was kind of left to her own devices. She didn't have time to cook anything, so she put some bread in the toaster. While it was in there, she cut up some ham. When it popped out, she put the toast on two plates and placed the ham on it. She began to eat hers as she set some small glasses of orange juice up.
She quickly sent Bec a text: 'Dont forget your helmet.' Yes, she had spare helmets, but she had too much stuff with her to take Rebecca's spare one.
"Bye Papa!" She called out as she left the apartment. With that, Jesse pulled on her helmet, hopped on her bike and headed towards her cousin's place.
Rebecca looked at the text and facepalmed. She quickly went back inside and up the stairs to her room. “Why did you forget the damn helmet‽” She reached her room, opened it and grabbed the helmet that was on her desk. She also grabbed a few snacks and Barkk’s recharge food. She ran back downstairs and ran straight out of the door.
"Are we gonna go see Rebecca, Jesse?" A male voice asked, and Jesse looked to her shoulder to see her kwami.
"Yeah Roarr, we are. But she doesn't know about you, and obviously you can't see her."
"I know, but I like her," Roarr replied.
"Stay in my jacket for the moment," Jesse said, pulling her helmet on and sitting on her bike. "It's safer and you're less likely to be seen." With that, she took off.
A small creature slowly came out of it’s hiding spot and floated behind Rebecca’s shoulder. “I smell. . Pretzels!” A female voice exclaimed. Rebecca turned her head to the voice and saw her kwami on her shoulder. Rebecca smiled and took her kwami in her hands.
“Barkk, that’s your recharge food, I can’t just keep giving you pretzels all the time.” The kwami frowned and crossed it’s arms. Rebecca sighed and gave Barkk a pretzel. Barkk took it and started nibbling on it. She then proceeded to go back to her hiding spot in Rebecca’s backpack.

Aeris had to run to make it to class on time. She has gotten distracted again, and was almost (but not quite) late again. She smiled at the teacher and sat down with a sigh, taking a journal out and doodling in it.

Rebecca ran through the school, trying to get to her class. There had been a unexpected delay, which meant Rebecca and Jesse were going to be late if they didn’t hurry. She ran inside the classroom, bumping into a girl. She stopped and apologized and then walked to her seat.
“Be more careful!” A muffled voice from her backpack said. She reminded herself to apologize to Barkk later.
Jesse walked into the class, slipping into her seat next to Aeris. "So sorry I'm late, Ms Bustier. Bec and I ran into traffic on the way here."
"It's alright, Jesse," Ms Bustier said. She understood how bad the traffic was in Paris in the morning, and also that Jesse refused to filter when she had someone else on her bike. She then began to complete all of the traditional things that a homeroom teacher would do.
Jesse looked out the window while this was happening, just looking at the sky. Her view was suddenly blocked by black, and she could then see that the black was Chat Noir. When he left, she could see Ladybug on the opposite rooftop. Rena Rouge was right behind her.
Jesse's hand shot up. "I'm really sorry, Ms Bustier, but may I go to the bathroom?"
"Yes, Jesse, you may."
With that, Jesse grabbed her stuff and ran to the bathroom.
Rebecca sighed and looked at the window. As she did that, she saw the most peculiar thing. Three figures on the rooftops with animal-hero themed suits. She chuckled as she turned her head to look at Jesse leaving the classroom. She whipped her head back to the window and her eyes widen as she realized who those three figures were.
“Another Akuma, looks like I need another great excuse to leave classroom.” She said under her breath, quietly.
Her eyes brighten as an idea popped into her head. She raised her hand and Ms. Bustier looked at her. “Yes, Rebecca?”
“I-I feel sick. .” She immediately covered her mouth and waited for the teacher’s reaction. The teacher sighed and immediately started writing on a blue slip.
“Go to the infirmary and give the nurse this slip.”
Rebecca nodded, grabbed her stuff, walked up and grabbed the slip. She quickly walked outside the classroom and looked for a good hiding spot.
Aeris glanced outside and paled. How the hell was she supposed to leave, now that Jesse and Rebecca had already taken the good excuses? And first thing in the morning, too. She thought quickly before dashing up to Miss Bustier. "I'm so sorry, Miss Bustier, there was a family emergency, I think my grandpa might have broken his hip, I'll be back as soon as possible!"
Aeris, who did not, in fact, have a grandfather, rushed out of the classroom without waiting for a response, and decided to go to the girl's locker room to hide. It was ridiculously easy to get in, and she sighed as she leaned against a wall of lockers.
"This needs to stop happening so early in the morning," she muttered.
"You ready for this Jesse?" Roarr asked.
"Ready as I'll ever be. Roarr, Claws Scratch!" In an instant, Jesse was replaced by Caspian. She reached up to feel her undercut, something that was fuzzy. She rubbed her tongue over her now pointy teeth and climbed up to open a window. She used her whip to pull herself out of the bathroom, heading where she saw the others going. She wondered what was happening.
Aeris opened her bag and Mullo flew out, zipping around. "Why didn't you talk to me all morning? I was bored to death!" She complained. Aeris shook her head. "I was just overly tired this morning, and - hey, no, I don't have time for this! Mullo, get squeaky,' she said flatly. Mullo yelped at Aeris, who was now Soiris, but she didn't get any attention. She quickly scanned the wall, then jumped through a small hole near the window, reappearing on the other side and rapidly climbing up to the roof.
Rebecca found a empty room with tinted windows. She smiled as she walked inside and closed the door. She put down her backpack, opened the bag of her backpack and Barkk flew out, zipping around like crazy. The kwami smile and stretched. “Finally, some fresh air! Ready to kick some bad guy’s butt?” The kwami asked. Rebecca responded with a nod and a smile.
“Well, then. Say the words!” Rebecca closed her eyes and smiled once again. “Barkk, Let’s fetch!” With that, her kwami got sucked into her miraculous and her transformation began. Rebecca was replaced by Inu, who quickly left the classroom, climbed onto the rooftop and headed the direction where everyone else was heading too.

Caspian ran along the rooftops in the direction that she saw Ladybug, Chat Noir and Rena Rouge going. She saw people in the streets dancing helplessly, doing eternal pirouettes. "It must be a ballet related villain," She said to herself.
"Hey Caspian!" She heard, then turn to see Viperion running beside her a meter away. "Nice piercings!"
"Thanks, Viperion. Yours aren't so bad yourself." She flashed a grin, large tiger teeth showing.
Soiris looked around briefly before racing after the rest of the heroes. She looked down and realised quickly that people were… having seizures? No, that was dancing, she realised. "How unfortunate," she thought aloud.
"Anyway, what's happening?" Caspian asked Viperion.
"A girl got akumatised into Ballerina. If she whips someone, they begin to dance uncontrollably."
"How fun that must be."
Inu, cartwheeled her way to the other superheroes with a grin on her face. She stopped as she looked down at the people forced to dance. She sighed and her grin disappeared, she then continued cartwheeling her way to the other heroes. “You know, this honestly reminds me of Frightningale.” She said as she reached the heroes. They gave her a look and she shrugged. “I might’ve not been born when it happened, but it doesn’t mean I didn’t hear the story as a child.”
Soiris averted her gaze from the ground and ran ahead faster. "Where, exactly, are we going?" She asked the group in general. It always seemed to be a surprise to her, where the akumatised people were. The others seemed to be much better art finding them.
“We’re going to the one who started all of this dancing mayhem, and by this, I don’t mean hawkmoth. What I’m trying to say is that we have to get to Ballerina, and if my resource is correct, she’s near city hall.” Inu said, without letting the others respond to Soiris.
Soiris smiled gratefully. "Thanks, Inu." She was feeling a familiar rush of excitement, which always happened when she was on her way to help fight someone. Not that she ever did much fighting, but she was always there.
A smile crept up on Inu’s face, making her seem more happier than she actually was. “You’re welcome, Soiris.” She saw Chat Noir giving her a quizzical look and she pointed to one of the TV screens in the distance. “Ballerina is literally the only thing that’s on TV at the moment, which makes sense, since the news would want to make sure that the only thing the citizens of Paris see is the epic fight that’ll happen in mere moments.”
Caspian and Viperion caught up to the group just in time to hear where Ballerina was. Rena Rouge stared at Caspian. "You know, I don't think I'll ever be used to your teeth, tiger. There's just something about them. Probably the fact that they aren't human in the slightest."
"Why thank you Rena. I aim not to please."
“Look, can you two argue about not having human teeth later? We have a villain to defeat, and I swear, if we don’t defeat Ballerina in the next hour or two, I’ll lose it!” Inu said, almost yelling at both heroes.
Soiris raised an eyebrow delicately. "Seeing that discussing human teeth doesn't seem to be slowing their running speeds, I don't quite see the issue," she said lightly. "As long as your main focus is our upcoming epic battle," she added almost teasingly.
Inu rolled her eyes, but couldn’t help to smile. “The truth is, I just need a epic battle to happen, so it can clear my mind of my other duties I have to do. Second, Ladybug and Chat Noir got to fight like every single day and still be able to live a life. How that’s possible is a mystery to me, so that’s why I always like epic battle cause I know we don’t fight every day.” She coughed and smirked. “I wonder why we don’t get to fight everyday. . . Oh right! Hawkmoth is getting to old!”
"It's an art," Chat Noir smirked, standing tall. Ladybug slapped him.
"Now is not the time, Chat. We need to stop Ballerina. Does anyone have any idea where the akuma is?"
"Well…do we know how she's making people dance?" Caspian asked.
"She has these ribbons on her arm that she's whipping people with," Rena Rouge answered.
"Well, she probably didn't have those when she got akumatised. And if she's a ballet themed villain, then the akuma is most likely in her pointe shoes."
The other heroes were silent for a few moments.
"She's better than us, Bugaboo," Chat Noir complained. Caspian flashed a smile.
