Sometimes I wonder what it feels like to get hit by a car

I've technically been hit by a car

I ran over myself once.

It was an ATV. I knew it would roll if weight wasn't taken off of it immediately, so I purposefully fell off. And then it ran over my hand and ankle.

I've been really wondering about gunshots because I need to write a scene where Daniella is shot repeatedly.

they almost sound like fireworks to most people, but like, the ones with the rounder sound. loud. i live basically in the backyard of a military base and the shooting range is like ten minutes away, so we hear them all the time

Can confirm. I just live in a bad neighborhood lol

I've fired different types of guns, but I've never gotten shot. I don't know how much that can help you, Dom.

quick question for y'all: If someone you value the opinion of tells you that previous 'habits' and other talents, as well as an obligation to make sure you succeed in life points towards you not pursuing your dreams and going for something different, how would you take that? If they said that it was hard and that a lack of knowing at this moment what 'backup' plan you will have for after school means you shouldn't do it? How would you take them ignoring the fact that you're seeking professional help for your dream field and continuing to repeat what they're saying? How would you take it when it wasn't the first time they've 'suggested' not going after your dream job with the same exact reasons? Would you get defensive?
