Jared ate, smiling a little bit. He liked this. Liked being here, with Victor. Even if it was just because Victor had been hired to keep him company.

He finished off his food after a few minutes before taking relaxed sips of his drink. "Anything planned for today?" He asks curiously, a small smile on his lips.

(What now?? Do we want something to happen or just let them bond?)

Jared smiled a little bit, and shook his head. "Not really." He replied. "Is there anything you wanted to do?" He asked.

(Uhh…I don't really have any plans lol. So just let them bond?)

(Sounds good!)

"Nope." He laughs in reply. "Do you just want to hang out here for today?" He asks curiously. He finished off his water with a satisfied sigh.

Jared hesitated. "Uhm…yeah sure." He replied with a quick smile. He kept eating.

He nods and smiles. "Is there a place you want to go?" He was a little curious about the others hesitance. "We can do that instead if you want."

Jared shook his head. "Not really." he replied, taking another bite of food. "I should probably take a shower at some point, though."

He nods and smiles a little, "Alright. Well. Feel free to let me know." he replies softly. He glanced at the stack of books. "Which one should I start with?" He asks curiously.

Jared nodded. He shrugged. "Whichever one you want." he replied with a quick smile.

He nods before picking up the largest one and hefting it a little. "I think I'll start with this one." He laughs softly, his hand running along the pages.

"Alright." Jared said with another smile. "That one's good." he finished his food, and hopped up to put his plate and cup in the dishwasher.

He nods and smiles. "Sounds good." He flips to the first page and read over it quickly before standing and washing his dishes before putting them away.

(gtg to bed now. Good night!)

Jared smiled again. He picked up his own book and went into the living room, curling up on it to read.

He glances at the books before picking the earlier one up and settling on the couch. He sighs softly, reading quietly.

Jared kept reading, his feet tucked up under him. He was curled on his side as he read, in a position that somehow looked comfortable, despite the way his body was contorted.

Victor kept quiet, his eyes scanning over the pages rather quickly. He coughed softly to clear his throat before continuing to read.

Jared glanced over at Victor for a moment, then kept reading. He took a deep breath.

Jared stretched, having finished his book. He uncurled, stretching his toes out a little, catlike.

Victor wasn't very far in his book, since he was a slow reader. He seemed content though, slow breaths leaving his lips.

Jared got up and went to his room, grabbing a new book, and came back. He sat down again, letting out a soft breath.

"How was your book?" Victor asks as the other sat down, not looking up from his book in the slightest.

"Good." Jared replied. "How's yours?" He asked, stretching out on the couch. It was long enough that he was able to lay down, his feet just barely brushing against Victor's thigh.

"Intriguing." He replies softly, a small smile twitching onto his lip. He adjusts himself slightly, glancing over at the other.

Jared grinned. "That's good." He replied, cracking open his new book.

He nods before changing the page and glancing at the time. "Do you want lunch?" He asks curiously.

Jared shrugged. "I'm…not that hungry, but if you are, sure." He replied with a faint smile.

He shrugged. "Not really. I was just wondering." He replies softly, yawning quietly before setting his book down and standing a little bit.
