"Emotions are only a weakness if you treat them like that. Use them for your own advantage, it'll keep others from doing the same. And you wouldn't. Not until you get to know me. If you want to, that is." He watched her hold the cat in her lap, giving her a small, unreadable smile.
"Get to know ya? Hmmm…ya know. This apartment does get awful lonely with just us two…But you make one horrible mistake and I'll kill ya." She nods once and picks up the cat. "Now you quit that, you grandpa. I've taken care of ya, you should be a little nicer." She then set him on the back of the couch, and rolled her eyes. She had decided talking about her emotions was a really dumb and dangerous deciscion, so she wasn't going to comment another word on it.
"I have no doubt about that," Storm said. He saw how she avoided responding to his comments on emotions, so he let it drop.
"Better not. I don't earn any of those medals just for showin' up ya know." She said with a laugh. "Which reminds me that I gotta go work out in the morning."
Storm nodded.
"Okay then. …Where do you want me to sleep?" He asked, tired.
"Couch, unless you wanna be more than friends. I'll let you make that up." She got up, turned off the movie, and headed to her bedroom to get on PJS.
Storm, of course, decided to stay on the couch. He really didn't want to push things. He didn't have any pajamas, so he simply laid down, stretching out and slipping his shoes off.
She came out with a large pair of gray sweatpants. "Here. These will probably fit you, they are way to big for me." She set them on the couch next to him, walked off, and came back with a blanket and pillow,and set them on the third seat cushion. "Bathrooms down the hallway and to the right, first door. The second one across from it is my bedroom. The third one is basically just a storage closet. (Slow burn romance for these two?)
(Hmmm… honestly Storm just needs the okay and he'll be fine with a relationship with her)
"Thanks," Storm said, sitting up and grabbing the pants.
(She gave the okay when she said to join her in bed. She's subtle about it. Not outright)
She nods and shuts the bedroom door, the cat following her into her room. She the crawled into bed, picked up the book she was reading and got invested into the pages. She was reading a short collection of horror stories this night.
(And Storm thought it was another test/sarcasm)
Storm changed, laying down on the couch and pulling the blanket up.
(Hm. She wouldn't just say something like that. To her it shows just how interested he is, how daring.) She turned off the light in her room eventually, and fell asleep peacefully. The cat ended up sleeping on the back of the couch.
(He's only sorta interested, and not daring at all.)
Storm awoke in the morning well before dawn, gulping slightly from the nightmare. He had them every night, reliving his own personal hell.
(Gotta make him more interested then. I'll work on that)
Clara walked out in a sports bra top, and work out pants, towel over her shoulder as she got on her sneakers, filled up her water bottle, and made sure she had all of her workout equipment. She then started up the coffee pot for when she got back, and sighed as she sat on the couch near his feet, checking her phone, not yet noticing he was awake.
Storm blinked a bit when Clara sat down on the end of the couch, noticing her lack of a shirt.
"Morning," he said, smirking slightly.

She jumped a bit and looked over. "Oh. Morning. I started up the coffee pot, so get yourself a cup whenever it's ready. I'll be back in an hour or so." She got up, and threw on a black hoodie.

"Thanks." He sat up, pausing a moment. He sighed a bit, then got up with a stupid grin.

"What's that smile for?" She said snarkily, obviously not a morning person.
"Just glad I got such a good view first thing in the morning." He gave her a genuine smile.
"I kinda wish I'd taken you up on your offer last night."
"Thanks?" She said, not sure how to respond to being flirted with, especially at 6:00 in the morning. "Well ya didn't. Sounds like a you problem. See ya hot stuff." She then heads out the door, grabbing her biker helmet and ramming it on her head as she headed out the door. Of course she drove a motorbike.
"By!" Storm called, stretching a bit. He'd probably head back to his place to pick up a few things while she was gone.
Clara headed to the gym, and immediately got to weights, ropes, crow bars. Everything. She was well known, liked, and feared at her gym. An hour later she came back, and went to the shower without a word.
Storm came back from his expedition to his place, carrying a small bag of possessions. He saw that Clara was in the shower, so he decided to not bother her yet.
She came out of the shower wrapped up in towels, and came out to the living room. "Oh where the hell did-oh here it is." She grabs her stick of deodorant and heads back into her bedroom.
Storm glances up when she comes in, then sits down on the couch again, setting his trach bag down.
She comes out in ripped jeans, black boots, and a purple and blue tye dye t-shirt, hair wrapped in a towel as she got herself some cereal, and turned on the TV, then sitting down on the couch.
"Morning," Storm said, looking over and smiling.
"Did you enjoy the workout?"
