Aliana continued to walk as well.
Aliana continued to walk as well.
Hatta was quiet.
Aliana stopped her humming after Hatta wasn't joining in.
Hatta glanced at her for a moment.
Aliana looked over at him before looking back at the path wishing the well would show up.
(should the well show up yet, or nah?)
Hatta sighed softly, running a hand through his hair.
(Up to you, maybe we could put their lives in actual danger or something like that instead?)
Aliana messed with the straps on her backpack.
(lol alright. Uhm…from what, though?)
Hatta kept walking.
(….Didn't think that far. Maybe some type of monster?)
Aliana let out a sigh and kept walking.
(lol alright!)
Hatta paused for a moment, thinking he heard something, then continued walking.
Aliana heard something but brushed it off to being in her head. Then she heard it again and looked to Hatta worryingly, "Did you hear that?"
Hatta paused, taking a deep breath. "Yeah." He replied slowly. "I did."
A low growl rolled itself across the pathway. Aliana looked to Hatta, "That sounds like a thing."
Hatta shivered. "Yeah." He agreed.
Aliana looked to Hatta as she saw from the corner of her eye a looming figure. It was huge and had large fangs dripping with slobber along with it's blood-red eyes, "I-I think we should run."
Hatta glanced back, and his eyes went wide. "Uhm…yeah." he agreed, and began to run.
Aliana started to run after him. She could feel her body fill with fear. She was going to die here wasn't she?
Hatta kept running.
Aliana kept running, at least until she stumbled. She managed to stay on her feet, but she couldn't make up the ground she had lost.
Hatta slowed, grabbing her arm and pulling her along. "Come on!"
Aliana stumbled a little again as she was pulled before trying to match his pace, "I'm trying!"
Hatta kept pulling her along. He didn't want to get eaten.
Aliana glanced back seeing the dog creature thing catch up to them. Tears started to fall from her eyes, "It's catching up."
Hatta growled under his breath. "Keep moving." He replied. He pulled his hat off and dug inside of it.
Aliana gave a nod and pushed herself to go further. She watched him for a moment before glancing back again.
Hatta dug something out of his hat and tossed it at the wall. It was a little strand of thread. Once it hit the wall, though, it grew thicker and longer, weaving itself into a wall across the corridor, blocking the beast.
Aliana saw the thread grow and grow and watched as the beast stopped to snarl at it. She took a deep breath or relief knowing that it had been slowed down for the moment.
Hatta kept running after that. "Come on. It'll give us a headstart, but we need to run."
Aliana nodded out of breath and ran after him. She continued to glance back to check on the monster seeing as it slowly made its way through the thread.
Hatta kept running.
