"Well to…you Jo." The feline told her as Tempest gripped her hand gently, his ears pinned to the sides of his head as he gave a nervous little smile then dropped his gaze to the table.

She felt her stomach flutter and her mouth dropped a little. "O-oh!" She said surprised.

"I'm…um sorry I can't fully help it…once it starts to happen the feeling just grows rapidly." Tempest muttered, almost not able to be heard over the noise of the bar

She frowned a bit. "Why are you sorry? I was just surprised." She said leaning closer so he could hear her.

"I'm just…I'm just scared…feeling this again." he confessed, his eyes weren't really focused on the world around him

She put a hand on his cheek. "We all are Temp."

He nodded a bit "I'll let you back to work. Don't want to get you in trouble." He told her, but kissed her hand before he made his way down from the stool

"Wait- Tempest-" She said grabbing his hand again.

"Yes Jo?" He asked as he turned back around to face her

She leaned over the counter and kissed him softly. She pulled away with a gentle smile. "See you at the apartments."

He had the biggest smile on his face as he left. "See ya there Jo!"

Joanna quickly turned away from the group attempting not to get teased. She quickly went to take orders and clean tables. The night seemed to drag from then on.

Tempest went back home and got the sheets out of the basement washer and put them in the dryer, then went up to organize and clean out his room

After awhile the bar had slowed down and Joanna was wiping down the counters and rinsing out the glasses. She yawned and rubbed her face. "Am I good to go boss?" She asked tossing the towel on the counter. Her boss nodded with a smile. "Drive safe Jo, have a good night." He smiled waving. Joanna waved back and walked out to her car starting it and heading home.

Tempest had cleaned his apartment room and was just finishing up a round in Halo when he heard the familiar sound of Joanna's car pulling up

Joanna shut her door and locked it. She stuck the keys in her pocket and headed inside climbing the stairs to her floor. Joanna hummed going an unlocking her door.

I open my door and peek out "Jo! how was work?" He asked, having shrunk back to human form

She stuck her head back out and smiled. "Fine, mind if I come over in just a minute?" She asked with a hazy look.

"You're always welcome." He responds as he gives her some time

"Alright cool, tea like usual?" She asked yawning and rubbing her face.

"Yep! Sure is!" You hear me say. as I had kept my door cracked open as I prepare the tea as you change or do what you needed to do

Joanna quickly changed and scrubbed her face free of makeup. She knew at this point Tempest wouldn't care, so she put on some PJs and slippers and headed over to his apartment locking her door. She pushed it open and shut it softly. "Honey I'm home." She joked walking in the kitchen.

"Heya!" He chirped as she walked in, already having some Tension Tamer tea poured for her on the kitchen table

She went and sat at the table yawning. "So how was the rest of your day?" She asked picking up the cup.

"It was the best day in a while since i got the spend a lot of it with you." He tells her as he takes a sip of the tea

"Mmm, that's sweet." She smiled setting her cup down and yawning. "I-I had a question…to ask you." She said softly.

"Yeah? what is it?" He asks as his head tilts a bit

"You like me right?" She asked quietly looking at him.

"I do. I do a ton Joanna" Tempest responded as he smiles after his next sip
