Creatures that climbed out of the thing's shadow that run ahead to 'greet' the two Haven members before their master would get there "Infect the girl, Kill the boy he's no use to me." they told the four feral like shadow creatures that ran ahead on all four limbs.

Lapis looks at Spinel curiously. She knew she looked creepy to the others, but it really wasn’t her fault. Being trapped in a mirror for so long had it’s affects.
Will looked at Mabel who looked sad. He sighed and floated over to his masters.
“Dipper. . I-I. .I don’t want to stay here no more.” Dipper frowned and sat next to his sister. They both looked up into the beautiful blue sky.

Just then the feral creatures were in Tempest's view. "No not here, it can't start here." He muttered as a chill went down the young man's spine. He summoned his silver sword once more as they creatures advanced on him, one had gone after little Anna. Tempest opened his mouth to shout something and the three remaining creatures sprung at him.
“Steven Universe said that she was Pink Diamond… Is that true? Is she really… gone?” She asked, still trying to clean her face.
My ear twitches and I look around and the fur on me stands up somebody is watching us
Lapis just continued to watch them from her tree branch. She sighed and jumped off and approached them.

Anna still is making her way to the others, unaware of the creature stalking her.
Tempest on the other hand took two sets of claws raking across his chest as he had smacked one away with the flat of his blade. He grunted and stumbled back, the pendant on his neck glowed brightly and the infection from the claw marks vanished, so now he just had open wounds leaking the same golden liquid his sister's wounds did when she escaped from Bill's bubble.
Anethyst sighs a bit. "Yes, she is…"
Anna had almost made it when the creature sensed it was short on time and grabbed the back of Annabeth's shirt, causing her to scream in surprise.
“…..She never planned on coming back…..” Spinel said softly with a face filled with betrayal as she dropped her arms to her sides.
"That's not true." Amethyst stated, gently grabbing spinel's shoulders and facing her to herself. "She loved us. And if she could, she would come back."
