Jared smiled back. "Yes I would. I'm already a rich kid, useless is just a few changed habits away. I don't have a college degree, and I'm not some sort of super genius." he shrugged.
Jared smiled back. "Yes I would. I'm already a rich kid, useless is just a few changed habits away. I don't have a college degree, and I'm not some sort of super genius." he shrugged.
Victor shook his head. "No human is useless, Jared. Don't say that about yourself." He runs his fingers through Jared's hair. "No one, no matter what they say is useless.
Jared shrugged a little, leaning into Victor's fingers without meaning to. "Alright, alright."
Victor smiled warmly at the other, "Good." He ran both his hands through Jared's hair, his eyes shining happily.
Jared leaned into Victor's hands again, eyes flickering shut for a moment. He was behaving almost like a cat. Had he been one, he probably would have been purring.
Victor smiled at how cute Jared was being, humming quietly to himself as he does so. He looks around, his eyes scanning everything before looking down and memorizing Jared's face. He was so cute… Victor scolds himself a little and keeps quiet.
Jared kept his eyes closed, still leaning into Victor's hands a little. He took a deep breath.
He stayed like that, never moving, but happy to be close to the other. "What do you enjoy?" He asks after a moment.
Jared blinked. "Reading. Watching movies." he replied with a shrug.
He smiled. "What books? Adventures? Romances? Historical?" He asks with a curious glance.
"Fantasy." Jared replied. "Sci fi, romance can be fun sometimes." he shrugged. "What about you?"
"I love to read anything and everything." He chuckled. "As long as it grabs my attention, I'll read it."
He smiled. "Hm. I might have some books you might like, then." He replied, looking at Victor.
Victor nods. "Yes please. I've been looking for some new books to read." He chuckles quietly. He offers a small smile.
Jared smiled. "Hmm. Alright. Come on." He squirmed out of Victor's arms, standing up and stretching again, his shirt riding up a little as he did so.
Victor stood as well, his eyes looking down to the small bit of skin before righting himself. "Alright. Eggs and toast, right?" He asks curiously.
Jared nodded. "Mhm. You can do the food while I find those books, alright?" He said as he finished stretching, looking at Victor.
"Alright." he nods and smiles before walking into the kitchen. He begins to get breakfast ready, humming softly to himself.
Jared went to his own room, combing through the shelves to find books for Victor.
He started on the eggs, his eyes wandering the kitchen. He cooked quietly, only a faint tune leaving his lips.
Jared came back with about six books in his arms, a seventh tucked under his elbow. He set the six down, the seventh he set aside for himself. "Here." He said.
He looked back and his eyes widen. "That's a lot of books." He chuckled quietly before finishing up making breakfast. "I hope you're hungry."
Jared gave him a sheepish smile. "I…may have gone overboard, yes." He replied. "And yeah, I guess I am."
Victor smiled a little. "This will certainly keep me busy though." He laughs softly before giving Jared his breakfast.
Jared chuckled, and took the plate. "Mhm." he agreed. "Thank you." he sat down at the breakfast bar.
"Of course. Need anything else? Maybe some water?" He asks curiously, serving himself up as well. He offers a kind smile towards Jared.
Jared smiled back. "Water, please?" he replied, taking a bite of food.
Victor nods before filling two cups with water. He hands one of them to Jared before settling beside him.
Jared took it gratefully. "Thank you." he said with a quick smile. He took a sip, then set it down.
He nods before beginning to eat, looking relaxed and maybe even a bit happy. This was something that he enjoyed. He enjoyed protecting Jared, and he enjoyed just being here with the other.
