A little smile tugged at the edges of her and Anna nodded her hands fidgeting

Mabel crossed her arms. “It is not made up. . Okay, maybe it is, but it’s fun. The rules are simple, you introduce yourself and then tell the others a little about yourself. Who wants to play‽”

Spinel gasped and flipped herself back onto her feet, raisng her hand. “Oh! I wanna’ play!!” She answered joyfully.

"I guess I'll play." Anna raised her hand a bit

Mercury was weary of this new spinel. How did she change just like that?

Anna went back over to Mercury "I'm sorry for getting so angry." She said, hugging her softly

Mercury smiled a bit and hugged back. "It's okay. I was completely out of line doing that. I'm sorry. And spinel, I'm sorry to you too.

Anna closed her eyes and stayed in the Rottweiler's arms as long as she let her, as she nuzzled her gently.

Mercury gently rested a hand on the girl's head. "You remind me of my daughter."

“Why are you sorry? And how do know my name?!” She gasped, “Can you read my mind!? Quick, what am I thinking?”

“Yay! I know my brother will play. What about you, Bill?” Mabel asked.

Mercury giggled. "I might actually be able to do that, believe it or not."

"I could look into your mind but that's rude in my opinion." Anna said, still in Mercury arms, feeling content. "and I'm…happy that I could make you think of someone so important to you."

“Whaaaaat!!!!??” The Gem said, putting her hands to her face in wonder.

"Yeah you're thinking 'wow that's incredible how could she be able to do that?'" Anna giggled a bit

She laughed too, “No, I was thinking ‘You’re gonna’ be my best friend!’” Spinel smiled with childlike innocence, she really had changed.

"aw you got me I'm a little tired…and hungry so my powers are kinda…bleh right now but I'll gladly be your friend!" Anna gave Mercury one last tight hug before slipping from her grasp and went over to the joyous Gem

Mercury giggled and watched the two from afar.

“Yay!” She grinned, jumping happily.

Mercury goes to the young gem. "I'll play too," She says.

“I’ll go first!” She volunteered, “I’m Spinel! It’s great I’m getting to meet y’all!”

(In reality, she’s much older than her, she just doesn’t know it atm)

(Oof well whatever XD)
Mercury smiled at spinel. "I'm Mercury. It's good to meet you too."

"And I'm Annabeth, but people just call me Anna. It's so nice to meet you all." Anna seemed to be her smiley old self again

Despite everything being good and calm, there was still the mystery of why Spinel changed all of a sudden. Also that the thing she rode in on was still in the ground.
