"How does that sound?" Raven asked looking back to Ira.
"How does that sound?" Raven asked looking back to Ira.
She smiled and kissed his cheek. "Sounds great." The lady nodded alright, we'll save it and bring it to you tomorrow! Can we get a phone number?" She asked smiling still.
"Have my fiance's. It's xxxxxxxxxx." He smiled lightly.
The lady nodded. "Alright we'll call you tomorrow for the address and a time. Have a nice night you guys." She smiled calling over two teenage boys to help her with a tree. "Ready to go home babe?" Ira asked.
“Yeah,” he sighed getting in the car.
She followed him and shut her eyes. "It bothered you the whole time?"
"Yeah," Raven started the car and drover home. Once they were back he got out the car, walking to the house. "I just…I'm scared when you get quiet on me."
"Sweetheart…" She said softly taking his hand. "Even if you said a really awful thing that hurt me, I wouldn't leave you. If that's what you're worried about."
He nodded quietly sitting down the couch, in front of the TV.
"I'm going to wash my face and get PJs on. I'll be down in a few." She said softly heading upstairs.
He reached out his hand wanting to say something, but couldn't. Raven kept his mouth shut as his hands shook.
Ira went into the closet and stripped down to her under garments. She stood in front of the mirror and stared at herself. She hated what she saw. Scars and bruises covered her, with the occasional hickey from Raven, the only part she even cared for. She stared at herself until she couldn't bare it no more. She ripped her gaze from the mirror and went into the bathroom. She shut the door, and leaned against it, her eyes finally overwhelming with the tears from earlier. "I hate you…" She muttered to herself.
Raven waited for Ira to come down. He heard the door shut, but still no Ira. He kept on waiting until he couldn’t anymore. He can up the stairs yelling, “Ira!”
She sat on the bathroom floor leaning against the door shaking. She silently sobbed hugging herself close. "C-come on…Ira…you have to…to compose yourself…before…" She wasn't able to stop herself and kept crying.
He opened the bedroom door and then knocked on the bathroom door. “Ira! Are you in there?”
She held her breath and sat up so she wasn't leaning against the door. "Yeah babe." She replied in a shaky tone.
“Are you sure you’re okay?” Raven asked. “Can I come in?”
"I'm fine- really you don't have to." She said standing and going to quickly wash her face. Maybe she could pass off her red eyes for soap getting in them. It wasn't that she didn't trust him- she didn't want to worry him.
(H-hey…I gtg bed, and Ik it's a bad time… love you <3)
(It’s alright I love you too)
“I’ll be waiting out here then,” he sighed sitting on the bed. “I’m sorry for what I said. I didn’t mean for it to get out of hand. It was just a little tease. I’m sorry.”
(Wait! I actually have a few minutes! Huzzah! Sorry I don't want to tease you…)
"I-it's really ok honey, I'm just too sensitive that's all." She said setting aside her face wash. She sighed and opened the door not caring anymore. "Babe… I'm sorry." She said walking over to the bed.
(Yay! I’m in a good mood now)
(XD I don't long- but I'm here for now.)
“You’ve been crying. Why were you crying. Tell me what’s wrong please,” Raven saw as soon as he looked at her. “Ira, you have nothing to be sorry about.”
She felt it come back and she already had tears on her face. "R-Raven…" She stumbled, knowing she wasn't gonna be able to hide anything from him. She put herself in his arms and cried into his shoulder.
Raven wrapped his arms around Ira’s waist. “Shh, shhhh, I’m right here. Darling you have to tell me what’s wrong, so I can help. Help me help you.”
"You… you can't…" She sobbed holding him close.
“Not if you don’t let me,” he whispered.
She bit her lower lip and sniffed a few times. "I-it's really nothing you can help with… un-unless you can change my perspective on myself…" She muttered avoiding his glance.
“Is this about your scars?” He asked rubbing her back.
