We have like a rock through the ages theme.

Ours is Dreamcatchers, but they're also deciding to show 'appreciation for the native Americans who created dreamcatchers".
Because of cultural appropriation, we can use anything stereotypical, so the only thing alluding to the Native American part of the show is the colours and the show title (Ojibwe).

Cool! Our theme is "Stars" but we don't get the music until this upcoming Thursday because it's still being composed/written XD

We don't even get our music until next year starts lol

Really? So you get your music during band camp?

Yeah.

But our band camp is literally only three days lol

ours is going to be a week long maybe two weeks if we can convince our director.

Ours is two weeks long this but that's only because we have a LOT of freshmen coming in for next year who have no idea what they're doing and we have a lot to teach them XD and the freshmen aren't there all day, only in the morning. We are there ALL day, literally. From 9-12, 1-4, and 6-8 everyday XD

That was me last year, some people just weren't blessed with a large group of dorks to call a band.

I'm okay with it though, we all love eachother

Band is a family no matter how big or small it is. We fight a lot, but in the end, we'd stick up for any of it's members if they needed it. We all support each other most of the time

I'm just gonna but in and say that yes, band kids are tougher than football players. Especially obvious during marches.

Right!! The football players at my school were complaining that they had to go to school from 8-10 every week day in the summer even though they're going to be there before it starts to get really hot. The band is going to be there all day for 2 weeks and then we're going to be outside for 2 hours every morning before school starts to continue learning and perfecting our show. We definitely work harder than they do XD
