"How're you, Natalie? Is the day treating you well?" Cadmus asked.

lenore was siting in a chair by her window reading.
she closed her book
remembering she had to meet her lady in waiting!
she quickly picked up her light blue skirts running to the garden.
hoping her sister wouldn't scold her for being late.

Natalie smiled. "I'm good. And the day has treated me very well. And you?"

"Well, sir, first Miss Lenore has to present herself. Then we have to watch over the guard change." Alicia sighed, eyeing the doors. "And look, there she is."
Lenoe was running towards them. "You were almost late, miss."
Alicia turned and marched towards the barracks.

"So basically, we're boring ourselves to death?" Jonah replied, smirking. "At least the Princess' presentation will be an amusement of sorts."

she was out of breath from running all the way to the garden.

Alicia rolled her eyes and hid a smile. "You'll be spending your days doing this, Jo- sir, I advise you get used to it." Alicia reminded him. They stopped as the line of soldiers exited the barrack. "All we have to do is sit still and watch. And do not mumble, Lenore."

Natalie watched her sister run out of the castle. She smiled. "You're late again Lenore."

"That's good for you!" Cadmus replied. "And, I'd have to say I'm fine!"
He pulled out a small flask full of Cognac and took a deep swill.

Natalie gave him a smile. "Well I have some thing to do, and you seem to be thinking about something, so I'll just get out of your hair." Then she started down the tree.

Alicia turned around and spotted Natalie climbing down from a tree. "Natalie?" she asked, appalled. "Why were… up in a tree?"
(okay it seems like I'm a bit more of a tutor style thing)

"Alright then!" Cadmus exclaimed. He let himself fall backwards until he was parallel with his original stance, and sat there hanging upside down from his branch, looking at the assorted personalities gathered below himself.

Natalie laughed."Calm down Alicia! It's fine." She landed on the ground.

Natalie giggled at the hilarious sight of Cadmus hanging upside down.

Cadmus smiled back at her. He looked around the area.

Alicia bit her lip. The advisor was hanging upside down from a tree… but she decided to ignore the two and turned back the guards. They were jogging past her and she caught the eye of a green-eyed man near the back, who grinned at her. She blinked, and looked at the ground.

Cadmus saw this happen, he decided to keep an eye on that man. He popped open a book and pretended to read it.

"Now, why were you up in a tree?" Jonah inquired, wishing he could be that carefree.
