"Ooh I'm getting to know all the family drama." He laughed taking another cookie.

"Hans is a good guy, I should know, I can read minds…" Eli seemed a little bit more optimistic than the average father when his daugther was dating someone

"Oh? I literally only just met him." Silas nodded eating the cookie slowly:

"Oh really?" Wren started to talk, "He was just annoyed I was making fun at them…" she chuckles, "But really, he´s right, Hans is a good person, he´s probably internally screaming though…"

"I bet- that's how I felt when everyone teased me about me and another girl." He shrugged still smiling.

"Didn´t Reese did that when we were dating?" Aura inquies, looking at Eli, "Yes, yes he did, Penny also did that… actually, I none of them believed me when I told them…"

"Well- looks like a pattern is forming. They're gonna get married and adopt a bunch of kids." He laughed a little to himself.

"I mean, it would make sense, the whole thing started with grandpa!" Wren grabs a bottle of water and proceeds to drink it whole, "How else would a fae and a human have a siren for daughter, aunt Penny kept that thing alive too…"

Silas nodded. "I wasn't too far off at least."

"I told you we were a big family!" she bumps her shoulder with her elbow again

He laughed and crossed his arms. "I didn't doubt you." He nodded looking at her smiling.

"I mean, we have known Wren and Isla´s whole team since they were kids…" Eli feels the need to add that, "Someone had to be the adult there, one can´t expect a person to act like an adult at such a young age… "

"Makes sense, tell that to the people who ran my small squad." He laughed rubbing his face.

"We learn from experience…" Aura takes another sip of coffe, "Are you tired?"

"I'm almost always tired. But I'm fine." He shrugged it off.

"Would you like some coffe?" she asks

"I'm fine, really. But thank you a lot." He smiled running a hand through his hair.

"Well, anything else we can do, my child?"

"You've done so much already. I could never repay you guys."

"Repay us? helping someone is enough!" she laughs, "I told you they were the best" Wren smiles

He smiled feeling something he hadn't felt in a long time. "You have no clue how much you guys are doing."

And meanwhile Eli just stood there, smiling, "Kid, I can read mind but… I understant what you´re trying to say…."

"I… thank you." He smiled softly lossening his posture.

Someone knocks on the door, "Mom, dad, I think I left my phone here…" Isla entered through the door after Eli opened, in the meanwhile, it appears he told her everything, "Welcome to the family!"

He jumped and looked at her. "Now that's a little freaky." He laughed with a grin.

"That´s what people say when they look at me" she smiled

"I- I didn't mean it like that." He protested.

"No, it´s no problem, I take pride on that…" she extended her hand, "We didn´t formally met…" she gave Wren a look

"We haven't, I'm Silas." He smiled taking her hand.
