Eclipse tensed as the other fell asleep, biting back a whimper of fear.

He pulled the other close, breathing steadily. Even though Saayan was asleep he had amazing senses, so he could stop anybody comming in unless he wasn't in the same room.

Eclipse stayed awake most of the night, too out of sorts to sleep, and was still awake till morning.

"He woke up to see his lover fully awake. "Good morning~" he whistled with a soft smile.

Eclipse nearly jumped out of his skin when the other spoke, not expecting him to be awake, the dark circles under his eyes becoming evident ater the long stresssful night.

"Did you stay up all night?" he takes, taking Eclipse's hand while still on his stomach.

Eclipse took a couple deep breaths before answering, pressing into Saayan'ss side, "C-Couldn't sleep.." he murmured.

"Don't stay up every night, it's bad for your health," he softly spoke, rubbing his thumb across Eclipse's hand.

"Wasn't trying to.." said Eclipse softly, hiding away a little, "Too scared…"

"Okay, but next time you need to sleep more. It's unhealthy to not get any sleep," Nick laced their fingers together.

Eclipse shrunk into himself even more. He knew the other was just worried, but it still made him feel bad.

"It's okay. I won't hold it against too much, just sleep more. Are you hungry?" he asked softly.

Eclipe was still tense, "Y-yeah…" he said, realizing he did want food.

"Alright," he sat up and started to get off the bed. "What shall my prince want for breakfast."

Eclipse flinched at the name, "Please dont call me that…" he said softly, "And eggs would be nice.."

"If you don't like it I won't say it again and sure," Saayan picked him up bringing him to the kitchen and setting him down on the chair.

Eclipse nodded, letting te oter carry him to te kitchen.

Saayan started to hum while he cracked eggs, putting in salt and pepper. "Is it because of your family that you don't want me calling you that?"

"Not exactly…" said Eclipse shyly, surprised he was this verbal.

"What made you hate so much if you don't mind me asking," Saayan asked while he moved the eggs around.

"I was raised with hatred all around me, what else was I supposed to learn?" he asked, his voice stone cold for a moment.

Saayan flinches from the coldness in his voice. "You know prince isn't meant to be a bad thing. Prince kind of means treating the person as your top priority and my top priority is to love, take care of you, and marry you. Maybe we could even have children on day if you'll allow it."

Eclipse shook his head. "Please dont call me that." he said softly, there was a tone of deep pain, and even failure in his voice.

(to give you a run down, the three main power roles in a pack, are the Alpha, the Beta, and the Heir, generally known as prince or princess.
The Alpha is the leader of the pack. The Beta is his second in command, usually a sibling or close friend. The heir, is the firstborn child of the Alpha, or the Alpha's sibling, (Usually the Beta's kid in that case) or the unrelated Beta's firstborn, (When the Beta is a friend and the Alpha has no siblings) Or someone the Alpha chooses to train as a future Alpha.
Well, long story short, Eclipse was his pack's Alpha's firstborn… and he was ALWAYS told he'd never be good enough for the role.)

He tensed up, "Of course, I won't call you that," Saayan cleared his throat before placing the food down in front of him.

(Its a part of his story…)
Eclipse nodded, forcing old words and tears back down, picking up a fork and eating a tiny, reluctant bite.

(Why you gotta make it so sad tho…)
“Are you sure you’re hungry?” He asked touching his shoulder lightly.

(Because I'm good at doing that.)
Eclipse shook his head sadly, "Why do I have to be so messed up?"

(shakes head with disappointment)
"You aren't. You just keep holding everything inside you instead of letting it out to me," Saayan sat down beside him.

(Smiles evilly)
"You shouldnt have to deal with it…." said Eclipse softly.
