Hatta thought for a moment. "A bleeding zebra." He replied, glancing at her.
Hatta thought for a moment. "A bleeding zebra." He replied, glancing at her.
Aliana laughed, "That would be one answer, but the one I was thinking of was a newspaper."
Hatta chuckled a little. "Oh, I see." He replied. "It's like the first riddle I asked you. A few days ago."
Aliana gave him a smile, "Indeed it is!"
Hatta smiled back, and put his hands in his pockets again.
Aliana looked at him, "Do you have any more riddles for me?"
Hatta shook his head. "No, not really." He replied.
"Okay," Aliana continued to smile at him. She gestured down the path, "Want to keep going?"
Hatta nodded. "Yes. Unless you need to stop." He replied, eyes fastened ahead.
"We can keep going," Aliana responded confidently. She started to walk along.
Hatta nodded, and walked beside her. He seemed a little calmer now, less anxious.
Aliana glanced at Hatta grinning once she saw he was much calmer than earlier. Her little riddle game worked.
Hatta let out a breath, running his hand through his hair and looking around.
Aliana gave him a smile as she started to hum under her breath to entertain herself.
He smiled faintly in return, listening to her humming.
Aliana started to weave different melodies into her humming skipping from one to another never quite able to settle on one.
Hatta continued to listen, not whistling along quite yet.
Aliana finally settled on a melody quite enjoying it's more melancholy sound.
Hatta listened quietly, also enjoying the tune she had come up with.
Aliana kept going and glanced over at Hatta slightly wondering if he was going to join. It didn't matter if he did or not, she was just curious.
Hatta waited a little longer, then began to whistle along, quietly.
Aliana gave him a little smile as her humming turned to singing.
He smiled back, still whistling along quietly.
Aliana felt the tone of the melody shift slightly from melancholy to a more somber, but pleasant tune.
He continued to whistle.
Aliana looked to Hatta and gave him another grin at him. She was enjoying the moment.
Hatta smiled back, still whistling quietly. He hoped she didn't get that strange feeling again.
Aliana continued to walk and sing. She only faltered for a moment when something washed over her before disappearing again. She shrugged it off to her imagination and nerves.
Hatta glanced at her when she faltered, frowning for a moment, but didn't speak.
Aliana looked over at Hatta and paused her singing to tell him, "I'm fine."
