Evie caught but gave her a look. "I don't want you to have to- I can walk." She said gently slipping the coat on over her arms.
Evie caught but gave her a look. "I don't want you to have to- I can walk." She said gently slipping the coat on over her arms.
"If you say so, but I´m not comfortable letting a teenage walk home alone… Well, maybe I´m just being overprotective…"
She gave her a sigh and stretched. "You're a mom- so of course you are. But I'm not going to argue with you, you might just snap my knees so then I literally can't walk."
"I do not aprove of hurting children…" she laughs, "So, you want me to drive you home or not?"
She gave her a small smile. "I guess if you don't mind." She hummed the end.
"The car´s over there, make yourself comfortable, you can put the radio and what not…" Penny streches and goes into the driver´s seat
Evie nodded and slid into the passenger seat. "Thank you." She smiled buckling.
"It may be old but this thing has drive me and my drunk brothers since the late 80s" she buckles up and starts to drive, "Which street?"
"Believe it or not Water Street." She smiled turning her head to Penny. She shut her eyes and yawned.
"Talking about names… Well, I shouldn´t be surprised, I lived in a place called The Coffin" she laughs without looking away from the door
"Why's that?" She hummed her eyes still shut.
"It was a place founded by tons of people who died why building it, you know, the usual…" she sighs, "I mean, I used to live on Ireland and then moved to the U.S, and then at The Coffin…"
She nodded. "You've got an interesting life story." She yawned. "I'm just tired."
"You are free to fall asleep…"
(Am I the only one who got a server error?)
(I get those like all the time. I don't understand why though.)
"It's fine- I'll just wait until I'm home."
"Ok…" the wind going through the windows was chilly yet it had this sort of whimsical feeling to it, "I guess I do have an interesting life… I been around since 1950 so that must be why…"
She hummed. "Really? What was it like?"
"Well, stuff were cheaper to begin with, people used to be way more rude towards minorities though, tv was black and white and cartoons used to smoke…" she laughs, "I really liked the music…"
"You have a favorite song from the 50's?"
"I have to say… Blue suede shoes color, probably, I remember 60s songs better…" she smiles thinking about the moments when her and her uncle Conrad would dance to similar songs
"Nice- I really personally don't have any favorite music." She hummed.
"Why choose one when there´s so many types, I guess my brother Reese got me into more punk stuff, rock, grunge… you know…"
(Gotta help with decorations again, bye)
(Have fun!)
Evie nodded. "I like calming love songs. But I like all music, so." She shrugged a bit.
(It took 3 hours but the tree is finally done! well, I´m tired and I´m probably going to bed soon but still)
"Well, music is part of what we are…" she started to laugh, the kind of laugh you keep to yourself "My mother used to say music is on every siren´s blood, siren, syren, whatever… well, she also said the forest was part of a fae´s soul and what not…"
(XD it's all good!)
Evie nodded. "I wholeheartedly agree with that!"
(Before I officially fall asleep XD)
"Turns out some ancient beings tend to be right for most of the time…"
(XD sorry I'm doing other things too.)
She nodded. "Mhmm, and the only times they aren't are for pop culture." She said her tongue clicking.
