She smiled softly as she hit the keys softly. She'd probably have given up at this point if it was anyone but Tempest teaching her. She focused best he could and tried- but was getting a little frustrated because she couldn't get it right. She huffed but never quit.
"Jo take some deep breaths and pound the low keys as hard as you can, don't worry you won't break it."
She breathed in and let it out slowly. "Ok… deep breaths." She told herself breathing slowly.
"Now pound the low keys." He said grinning a bit
She did so and glanced up at him hopefully. She still breathed in and out slowly.
"Doesn't that feel better?" His canine like face at this point had broken out into a joyous toothy smile.
She nodded and grinned. "I don't know how you do it."
"How I do what?" Tempest's smile faded a bit as he looked down at her in his usual caring manner
"I'm so short tempered and I can fused out on almost anything I can't do right away. How are you able to keep me captivated without me getting overly frustrated and walking out?" She asked looking at him.
"I don't…to be honest I really like spending time with you…you haven't really…seemed short with me or…anything not likeable. You're sweet, understanding, open to all races…I mean I don't have anything I don't like about you Jo."
She flushed and looked away from him. 'Dang it… why is he so sweet?' She asked herself trying to calm down. "T-thank you… I really like hanging out with you too." She stumbled.
"Thank you Jo, and I must say you're doin' better than I did the first time at these scales." He nudged her arm a bit in an encouraging manner
She looked up at him with a small smile. "Yeah right- there's no way."
"no no I swear you are." He held up his paw like hands with a smile
(I swear- I'm so sorry. It must not have gone through.)
She chuckled. "I'll believe it when I see it." She smiled softly at him.
(it's okay calm down Rainy^^)
He brought out some sheet music and started to teach Jo how to read it "The language of music is the same worldwide, learn it and you'll be able to understand music anywhere, even if you don't recognize the language being sung."
(I think you mean Jo btw)
She nodded. "That's really cool- what song is this?" She asked glancing at the typings.
Tempest simply responded that is was an unused track that was from an abandoned game he had been asked to make a title piano track for.
"Oh cool, so like this?" She asked holding her hands in the places he told her to.
"Yeah exactly." He beamed a bit as Jo seemed to be getting the hang of this rather quickly with his help. "Now you just need to read the key signature to tell you how to play the track" Tempest told her as he explained what meant what on the sheet.
She nodded trying to pay attention, but she kept getting distracted. It wasn't because she wanted to- but Tempest was just… just so… cute? Even at the word she felt her insides turn. Not in a revolting way- in a fluttery kind of way.
"I suppose I can only drill so much information in your head. You've done so well so far." He gave Jo a hug with a little tail wag, slowly shifting back to human form
She blinked a few times. "O-Oh thank you." She smiled wishing she had paid more attention. "Sorry I got kinda lost at the end there." She apologized glancng at the keys.
"it's fine. you did well so far." He assures her as he finally is shrunk back to look fully human. "You're welcome to come by any time. I love having you here."
She bit her lower lip and looked up at him. "T-thanks. I'll probably come by tomorrow." She smiled. "Oh yeah- you could stop by my job… wait how old are you?" She asked thinking about it.
"19." He responded "What about you?"
She sucked in a breath. "21, doesn't look like you can come visit me." She laughed a bit and pulled her hair out of it's bun. "We can't serve anyone under the age of 21."
"Aw…well you're always welcome over here." He sighed a bit but put a smile back on his face.
"Well- I mean. We might have apple juice." She laughed looking at him
